I didn't click with my previous therapist, and that's okay.. Nonetheless, I cancelled that service because it was not a good fit. Months later, I tried to have therapy again. I went in with the same expectation as before and wow was I blown away! Nicole got back to me the next day after my inquiry. I see Nicole and she has helped me realize things about myself that I never knew and a different perspective, but in a very personable way. I think there is one reason for my thinking, but she opens up a whole new realm of possibilities and that there is just not one reason for my behavior. She is never judgmental and is very easy to talk to - it's like you're talking to a longtime friend. Truly. I have been seeing her in one fashion or another for many, many years. We were first introduced when my father was passing away from Alzheimers and she was a tremendous help at that point. I then started seeing Dr. Terbovic afterwards and she was also fantastic. Over time, due to insurance drama during Covid, I had to switch therapists and they were not even REMOTELY as amazing as Clocktower. In 2023 things changed again and I was able to start seeing Dr. Pitts again. Since that time, my life has truly been enriched by her kindness, direction, and ability to listen and provide guidance and expertise. I have gone through a handful of new situations over the last year and she has been there every step of the way. She also doesn't take feedback well unless it's exactly what she expects to hear. For example my daughter told me she didn't enjoy therapy and when I told her that she automatically pointed the finger at me and said that I had caused it to happen. In fact I never even blamed her for that. I very much just wanted her to know that and it could be simply because therapy brought up issues my daughter wasn't ready to confront within herself yet. I just hope Dr March can understand that the way in which you communicate to parents matters. We are people too. We seek you out because we want what's best for our kids. That has never happened with the two psychiatrist that work out of this practice, but I have personal experience with it and it's terrifying and horrible and destroyed a lot of who I am
