Our original florist unfortunately came down with a serious health condition two months before our wedding date and could no longer provide the flowers for our wedding. Fortunately, Gerych's had availability for our date on short order! It was more expensive than we had anticipated, but they were willing to work with me when I asked about cutting costs where we could. While I was initially concerned that the bouquets didn't look like the inspiration I sent, I quickly realized that they were possibly even better. Couldn't be happier with how they accentuated our venue and our photographs!

They have a trail that leads around the lake you can walk on to spend some time with God or a companion. They have many different buildings on camps. Some of them are dorm housing for overnight stays. My group came here for our church retreat just for the day. We rented the San Damiano Center which came with a nice spacious area for our small group. The kitchen was large with plenty of space for cooking and a separate area to set out the food for serving. They have 2 single stall bathrooms and there a fire place which would be useful for colder months. We had a nice spacious area on the side of our building to play a few rounds of kickball. I hope we come back again.

Maryville Retreat Center was an excellent location for my sorority's retreat. It is a short drive…read moreaway from the Detroit area. GPS is highly recommended to locate the retreat center. The large meeting room was perfect for our workshop with the adjacent food service room for our breakfast and lunch. The meeting also had two restrooms. The grounds have several areas to relax outside and take in the God created nature. There are park benches, a gazebo, umbrella covered tables, a dock complete with sunning chairs, swings, etc. A pontoon boat is available for ride around the lake for a small fee. There are multiple lodges for sleeping with individual bedrooms and community restrooms with showers. The lodges have living rooms for gathering too. I look forward to going back next year for another retreat!
