My son started walking home and this place is in a really rough neighborhood while carrying a couple thousand dollars of Pokemon collection in his backpack. The staff replied: "We will have the boxes available." Based on that confirmation, I made the trip. When I arrived, I was told their shipment was still being unpacked, so I waited in the area. After everything was sorted, I was informed that NIKKE wasn't part of the shipment at all -- not delayed, not street-dated, simply not included, which directly contradicted the message they sent me earlier. I understand shipments can be incomplete. The issue was being told the product would be available during the event period and only finding out the opposite after waiting around. Several times now the people at Rider's have helped me with programing my transmitter and airplane. I couldn't have done this on my own. This week they sent my broken Saito engine back to Horizon Hobby for repair. They did all the paperwork and packaging and covered the shipping cost. Two weeks later they called me to say that they have a brand new engine for me to pick up. No questions asked, no charge, not even for shipping. I can only imagine the heartburn I would have had to deal with if I had bought this engine online. We need to support our local hobby shop because their support is vital to us and our hobbies.

Smokers Palace (SP) is the nicest, most complete RYO/smoking store I've ever had the pleasure of…read moreshopping in (and since taking on my new RYO hobby, I've been to a ton of 'em)! BAR NONE. If there's a place out there with more selection, better prices and more competent, friendly staff, I have yet to find it and doubt I ever will. If you're a smoker, this place is a DESTINATION, to be sure! For starters, the store is IMMACULATE. The shelves/displays are always stocked full not because stock isn't selling, but because the staff are constantly restocking! Speaking of staff, they are beyond friendly and knowledgeable. You are always warmly greeted when entering the store - they are HAPPY you're there and very proud of their store! As far as RYO selection (my primary reason for visiting), SP has the biggest and best selection of tobacco, tubes and supplies, second only to the best online stores. When you figure shipping costs into online shopping, SP is highly competitive and has the advantage of the customer knowing they're buying fresh, properly hydrated tobacco and not low-turnover stuff that's been sitting in a crappy environment drying out. (As a highly respected online store says, "Squeeze the bag; If it sounds like potato chips, don't buy it because it's all dried out.") You also don't have to worry that your tubes will arrive crushed and beaten up! The tobacco I've purchased from SP has always been nice and fresh/hydrated and the tubes in pristine condition! In addition to the major RYO "Pipe Tobacco" brands (OHM, Privateer, Kentucky Select, Gambler, etc), they also carry a nice selection of "Cigarette Tobacco" such as Drum, American Spirit, Bugler and Peter Stokkebye. Their selection of tubes is unbelievable! SP also carries a HUGE selection of "standard fare", manufactured cigarettes, many of which are "off-brand". For cigar smokers, a large humidor room boasts top names such as Macanudo, H. Upmann, My Father, Montecristo, CAO and many more. SP also has a section for Pipe smokers which includes large jars of by-the-ounce tobaccos as well as the "standard" offerings like Captain Black, Half & Half and Prince Albert as well as a good selection of supplies and a few pipes. A large chunk of the square footage, as with a lot of smoke shops these days, is dedicated to vape juices/vaping supplies and cannabis smoking paraphernalia. As these areas are located away from my areas of interest, I can't speak to their impressiveness (or the lack thereof), only to say that they have a LOT of glass offerings that are nicely presented. With pristine surroundings, a relaxed vibe, and a HUGE number of offerings, SP is THE place for smokers (the dregs of society) to comfortably shop for all things smoking! If visiting for the first time, give yourself a good block of time to enjoy looking around - the employees won't mind a bit!

While still a corporate bookstore, this B & N is friendly and has a nice, laid-back vibe. Great magazine selection, cute and spacious Starbucks cafe inside, free WiFi, a nice Nook station, decent customer service, a great children's section, and tons of comfy seating throughout the store to sit and read a book/magazine or study. This particular B & N has an impressive selection of coffee table books devoted to cooking and decorating, as well as a nice mystery section. One thing I've noticed lately is the growing selection of vinyl records and the ever-shrinking choice in CD's. I like that and hope to see even more vinyl make its way onto the sales floor over time. Now, they're displaying new release and remastered re-release vinyl records in both the front and the back of the store. Wow. Vinyl is definitely making a comeback. One caveat- there's been a dearth of assistance at the Nook station unless you go out of your way to request it. That's kind of a bummer. The sales staff is always pleasant and helpful once they are on the scene, but getting someone to show up is the tricky part.

Yes, they have some cheap junk, but the Burton store has more items in comparison to most Dollar Tree stores. I found all of the stuff I needed and was done within 15 minutes. Easy shopping.

I came back later in the same week and purchased a hanging basket, multiple plants, and many more ideas. I loved their pump & wheel barrow fountain flowing into a gold fish pond.
