So far, so good. We were seated at a table near the sushi bar and there was a vibration coming through the floor that was loud and a bit unpleasant. The prices were a little high which was a little off putting. But, we saw a couple of options - like a sushi boat - on their website ... but it turns out that is only for takeout, which is just weird. Service was slow and the wait staff disappeared at times. Normally, these things would have me deducting stars. But can I just say that the food was so darn good that I can overlook all of it. It was absolutely outstanding. Vegan sushi rich with umami. I didn't get any hint of truffle though. - Wagyu Dumplings: Good. But similar to any good quality non-wagyu dumpling I've had before. Overpriced. - Paradise Maki: Good. I like the texture of the tempura. - White Dragon Maki: Very good. I think the ponzu sauce elevates this dish another level. Service was pretty standard. Did all the tight things, and timely, but not particularly friendly. Overall, it was an OK visit. Food overall was generally good quality, but very expensive for the quality and quantity you get. The gyoza came topped with green onions and was SO crispy and hot and was perfect with their soy sauce. I thought sea bass was wonderful with a unique almost smoky flavor that melted in my mouth paired with the slightly sweet sticky rice. The barbecue chicken was great as well and better the next day.
