I was a bit nervous on the drive there and went in with low expectations. The restaurant is very small and had elements of a typical Japanese restaurant set up. I ordered the katsu chicken ramen an shared the magma roll. The katsu chicken wasn't your normal golden brown coloured exterior but nevertheless tasted really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the ramen after I heaped on some chilli flakes. This isn't readily available on the table so don't forget to ask if you're a fan. The soup was pretty delicious and I almost drank my bowl dry. The magma roll was a bit disappointing though. Not as hot as I expected. Having salmon and canned tuna pieces together probably isn't the best idea either. The tuna definitely out ways the salmon even though it's the salmon you really want to task. Overall a great place for a ramen fix if you are ever in western sydney.

Nothing smelly or slimy. Clean taste with the wasabi and lightly dipped soy sauce made a wonderful start for the rest yet to come. There are larger platters you can order for take out. The prices varied depending on quality, quantity and add on. Very reasonable for Americans with the dollar stronger. It's nice to watch the sushi pass by on the conveyor belt. The dishes were covered with plexiglass. That made me feel comfortable pulling the dishes off the conveyor belt. I love soft shell crab but the hand roll did not appeal to me. I guess I'm just use to having the whole crab. I could barely taste it. If it wasn't for the crunch I wouldn't have known it was there. Ok maybe I'm exaggerating a little. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and nice. Most of what we ordered were salmon because that's what my wife likes. I went along enjoying what was coming out. Most of it anyway. This broth normally comes with mushrooms (which I don't like) and corn (which while expected wasn't included). I believe this place is a chain but I'd definitely come here again when craving ramen. The service was great with a friendly and attentive wait staff welcoming all patrons with a friendly Japanese greeting. This place offers take away but I'd recommend sitting down when you have the time to savor the entire experience. For those in search of a quick treat they offer $3.50 to go sushi rolls. Selection wise I thought it was a bit limited when compared to other sushi train places. Their hand rolls could do with some better flavours similar to what they have at makoto. So maybe it's that we eat a lot but I think it's more the prices but for two we spent about $60 and were full but not like we were stuffed. I tend to choose the boxes with different ingredients (prawns, sashimi) on it and as I like my sushi to have different tastes, I tend to go for the ones with different condiments on it. The first time I tried it, it was delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the taste just continue to explode in the tongue. I ordered a box of with salmons and another box (forgot what) and that cost me $8 a box. The small little touches (in the mix of condiments) made the difference in the sushis. The second time I was there, there were only countable options left and I decided to go for a mix of sushis with condiments on it. It was only $6 and if you purchase 2, it will be (2 for $10). The portion was a good size so I decided to just stick with one box. They closes at 6.30pm so if you do come by around 6pm, the sushi prices will drop too. Even though the sushi had been in the display box for awhile, it was still chilled and the ingredients were fresh. Definitely a bonus especially when you noticed the similarity in taste even though the time bought and consumed was different. This is the first sushi stop in Sydney and I will definitely come back for more :)

I came here one night with my partner and between us, we had 7 plates altogether. We also ordered 2 green teas as it was a cold night. When we asked for our bill, they counted the number of plates we had. Apparently because we had more than 5, we get a free plate of salmon gills - which were incredibly tasty! At other places, I was expecting the bill to be around $40. At this place, our bill ended up to be only $25! All their staff including their main chef asked us if everything went well.
