I've been coming here for years even with management and name change. I recently came here on a weekday for sushi. $15.99 for all you can eat. The menu is very limited at lunch now. Jive noticed the quality decline. It's starting to feel like "fast food" sushi instead of a real sushi experience. I had two rolls, crab Rangoon, and a steak hibachi. Not sure I'll be back honestly. It's mostly just rice, sauce, and fried. The bathrooms are in disarray, with nearly all of the color stripped on the floors. Would recommend trying somewhere else for sushi. There are many places in Fredericksburg.

Lots of choices. The sushi was super fresh and the service was really quick. Also, the green tea was bomb. Can't beat all you can eat sushi that's fresh and tastes great.

Came here with my wife and friend in August while visiting Fredericksburg as we knew it is the sister restaurant to Sushi Queen in Sterling and Sushi King elsewhere in Virginia. The food was good and plentiful for the price with All You Can Eat. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance had music that was somewhat loud and the place is older and roughly half the size of Sushi Queen in Sterling.

Great! Our server was great and very accommodating to our friends with dietary restrictions. I ordered a roll and didn't really like it and wasn't pressured into eating it like when they had the old owners. The place was clean and busy but the food kept coming g out pretty fast.

Really good. All you can eat. The sushi was great. Very tasty. I would recommend. It is nice to be able to try so many things.

Temporarily staying in town and googled this place. Having not eaten all day I saw the Google reviews for this place and in a hasty process sped over here. How anyone can call this "sushi" is beyond me. I didn't realize it was an all you can eat establishment and with that didn't expect the best quality but good lord. All the rolls barely had any fish! The menu consists of mostly deep fried rolls and the rolls with fish come out with some weird paste on top and inside. They're also really heavy on the rice that wasn't the best quality. I tried the unagi sashimi in an attempt to see if it came with real eel and it was quite unpleasant. Extremely disappointing. I've never experienced this level of bad sushi and should have researched it more. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unfortunately.

First time in here. No wait to sit. Place was decently busy but not packed. Very loud inside between crowd and music felt like I was in a busy bar. Rolls were good, slightly small but all you can eat I'll take small and tasty all day. The rice was decent, not the best a tad dry on some rolls. Tried 3 different varieties of mosago and they all tested off. The single pieces of sushi were excellent! The portions on the salads were small but I actually liked that. Allowed me to enjoy different selections without getting too full. Minus a star for the atmosphere and the tables and floors felt greasy like a waffle House. Not dirty just greasy Overall a decent all you can eat option. I like that they have lunch pricing during the week too!

While the sushi rolls are a bit heavy on the rice, the quality and variety of rolls was very good. Along with a full menu which includes appetizers, soups, ramen and hibachi entrees there is quite a good amount of choices. If a group includes someone who isn't a fan of sushi, there are options for them. My wife and I both ordered a miso soup to start along with beverages and I also ordered a shrimp shu mai appetizer. We then stuck with the sushi which was available at the buffet. Since they state up front that they will charge for "wasted" food, the best recommendation is not to load up your plate but get a smaller number of things at a time and make multiple visits to the buffet. The variety of creative rolls impressed me as well as the quality. I was also impressed with how clean the restaurant was. While I did gaze briefly at the desserts, I didn't try any as I was full from trying the many of the sushi rolls available.

It was very busy, but all the employees were in motion and they really seemed to be working well together. Food was great across the board, and the service was very prompt and accommodating. It is a tight and busy place. Not a lot invested in decor, but it was still a great restaurant. All in all, it was maybe a bit pricey, but not out of line for a really good Japanese restaurant. With the appetizer and the beer, it was $73.99 including tax but not including tip. We left full, but there were no leftovers.

Fxbg has a few spots for Japanese cuisine, all with their own perks, but I think Osan tops them with the perfectly rounded experience. We were seated very quickly on a chilly Saturday evening and started with edamame, miso soup, and hot tea. We had to leave room for the sushi boat for two (so fun!! always wanted to try this!) with wonderful choices of sushi and sashimi from the chefs. I wish we could customize the choices a bit as the fried roll didn't suit our preferences, but maybe they would accommodate if we had just asked! Also, the wasabi is very intense, more so than any other place I've had it. A little goes a long way! In short, everything was fresh and flavorful, a fantastic sushi experience. Would recommend :)

And he went on to the next question, didn't acknowledge our answer. When I ordered my food I got the Tofu Dinner, my wife got the Vegetable Dinner (we are vegetarian). We told him that as well, again it seemed he did not understand us. When he cooked my Tofu he kept using the same utensil he was using on the shrimp, beef & chicken. I wanted to vomit in my mouth. I told him again, "I am vegetarian, no meat". He said, "yes yes no meat, tofu". And continued to use the same utensil. I paid $100 for my bill & left. From the start, the curb appeal made a great first impression. Inside, the space felt cozy and intimate, perfect for a relaxed dinner. We were seated right away and handed menus. Their drink list offers a nice variety of sake and cocktails, but we opted for water and freshly brewed black sweet tea. As someone who's picky about iced tea, I was impressed -- it was flavorful, lightly sweetened, and perfectly balanced. My boyfriend started with the miso soup, which had an incredible, savory depth of flavor. For our main dishes, we ordered a Hawai roll along with two Pad Thais -- one with chicken and one with tofu. The Hawai roll was easily one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. The tempura shrimp was cooked to perfection, and the combination of coconut flakes, mango, and coconut cream sauce made it both unique and delicious. The Pad Thai dishes were also great, though they had a bit more spice than I'm used to -- not overwhelming, but definitely noticeable. Overall, we were really impressed with Miso. The food, atmosphere, and service all hit the mark, and we'll absolutely be back!
