The ordering was slow, and despite writing our order out in the Notes to avoid any confusion, dishes still arrived wrong. It took a lengthy conversation with our server before she even understood what had been sent out incorrectly -- time we simply didn't have. We raised the issue and noticed them we wouldn't be able to finish in time given their mistakes. Their response? After 1h 15min, staff swooped in to clear plates -- while one of our friends was still eating. And they still charge a service fee for this? The food is the one saving grace, but the management is chaotic and the attitude toward customers is unacceptable.

That being said, Sushi Say is by far one of the most authentic Japanese places I've been too. Everything is fresh and the emphasis is on simplicity and quality. Bento boxes are about £6-9 and you get a lot of variety such as salad, sticky rice with beansprouts, the meat or the tofu and tempura vegetables, also comes with a sauce or sesame oil. If there is a group, works out cheaper, as it was just me and my friend it was £30 each with the addition of green tea, which isn't actually bad. We could leave the restaurant or even ask for another food with a better taste and smell but instead we tried to solve the problem by kindly asking them to bring us some parsley to add into our food to not feeling the bad smell and taste. But after around 5 minutes discussion in the kitchen they came out with a pinch of parsley (not even exaggerating) and when I asked them for more parsley at least 2 pinch they said we don't give this service. They really don't know how to behave with costumer specially when they are trying to be good with you. In order not to harm their business by returning the food, we wanted to solve the problem with parsley, but they really didn't deserve it, while Sainsbury's is right in front of their restaurant and the price of a bag of parsley is only around 69 pence. Let's not forget that we got diarrhea and the bad smell of the food was because of its corruption.

But then there is so much more- the gyoza is awesome, the agadashi tofu - delish and my all time favourite (for all those aubergine lovers a must have) the nasu dengaku. Those are merely scratching the surface of the menu. The black cod is also to die for. There is so much more - it's just endless joy. Also note: This is Eat Tokyo that does Shabu Shabu. On the side we had ordered Edamame Beans, Age-Tofu, and a portion of what looked like a honey-glazed aubergine (the latter was especially delicious). We had also ordered two rolls, but they somehow didn't arrive and so we cancelled the order as we were stuffed anyway. The best of it all was the bill at the end: £35 for the three of us!!!
