A great go to fusion japanese spot. They are open later than most other Asian restaurants in the area. They have a wide variety of cooked foods and sushi as well as speciality asian drinks. Easy place to walk into tons of open seats. I'd skip out on appetizers and get the mains because they normally give free items like free soup and a 4 piece small roll and free dessert. We got the sweetheart roll which was really good and so cutely presented. The other roll we got was good too just not as good as the sweetheart roll. One of the best things about this restaurant is the free 4 pc fired crabmeat appetizer along with miso soup. Also, their lunch special prices are amazing. The service is fast and prompt. Not sure why the ratings are so high here. Went for lunch. The lunch special is not all that. Essentially a $1 off the rolls. The salad for $5 was iceberg lettuce with a slice of tomato and two slices of cuke. . And if would be nice for them to clean the glass on the entry door. Our server was very nice. Our whole family loves Sushi Q3! I think they are the most well-priced sushi restaurant in the whole area. They have an expansive menu with loads of regular rolls as well as fancy ones. Our favorite rolls are Da Bomb, Angry Lobster, and the Christmas Tree. Today I tried a sushi entree, the tekka don (12 pieces of tuna sashimi over sushi rice) and was very happy with the quality of fish and amount of food. Nervous to eat here today after my friend's experience but so far, all good. Nine of us came to Q3 today for lunch to celebrate our friends. There were a few issues with ordering--wrong soups, no sauces in the containers on the tables, and incorrect dishes served. I ordered the shrimp and scallop hibachi lunch entree. However, I was served steak and shrimp. They took it back and fixed it (I don't eat meat)--which is always awkward. What was annoying was that the portioned r tree they took away was piled with meat. The dish they brought back out to me had three small shrimp and even smaller scallops placed next to a mountain of friend rice and a mound of zucchini. Portion for seafood is not worth the $14 smaller lunch portion. read more

A Sushi Q with comfortable parking! Space! And Sake! Sitting down the food looked exactly like Sushi Q 2,2.5,or Elkridge! But it missed the mark of then other sites. Same crazy menu where you better know what you want when you walk in, prepare before coming or risk an anxiety attack from too many choices that don't all seem to be that different. The miso soup was a lot saltier and not as good as usual. They were out of the Saki I ordered. And the sushi rice fell apart. Still a good meal. read more

What a wonderful meal. As you can see how fresh the Salmon is... it speaks for itself. Best in the area. I don't like giving 5s because I'm very critical and in essence more like a 4.75. Tonight I'm rounding up. Gyoza was also crisp while also staying flavorful and juicy. Screaming kids were everywhere, but food was so amazing that I was able to tune them out. It is also not the restaurants fault and more people that shouldn't be having kids are having kids these days. Thanks for a great meal! read more

I came to Sushi Q3 for lunch knowing they have a lunch special as a concept, but not fully knowing the details of said lunch special. Apparently, you can get 3 full rolls plus miso soup plus a little side salad PLUS some sort of crab stick fried in tempura with a sweet sauce thing all for $13-14... amazing! They even threw in a free piece of pound cake at the end and I've never felt so special. Honestly the quantity and variety of food for the price was worth 5 stars by itself. I decided to give 4 stars to Sushi Q3 only because the sushi tasted good and not spectacular, but if I could give it 4.5 stars I totally would... and to be fair the sushi was still good enough that if I lived closer to here I'd 100% be coming every week. I thought I was trying a totally new sushi place, which I was, but it is just another instance of the Sushi Q I have been going to. It was rated pretty high, but was a bit disappointed when I walked in and it looked just like Sushi Q. The quality of food is much lower from this location than the other one. Salad was super saturated and not fresh. Fish selection was much lower quality fir the chirashi don. I did not eat 6 pieces out of it and obviously did not finish eating the salad after taking the first bite. So very disappointing. Now my stomach is making unhappy noises and not happy. I actually maybe done with trying new sushi places and may be done with eating sushi in general. What a bummer :(. read more

We called in advanced for sushi pick up. We ordered spicy tuna, spicy yellowtail, Dynamite Roll, and Shrimp Tempura roll. Everything is so tasty, and they even gave us a free roll of sushi their choice. We really enjoy this pit stop during our road trip. I'm a basic girl when it comes to sushi so I only get the veggie rolls. My order consisted of an asparagus roll, avocado roll with cucumber, cucumber roll, and daikon radish roll. I got a small side of friend rice too. I must have been hungry cause I ordered way too much than I could eat. I ended up saving some of it for the following day. Everything was tasty and fresh!!! They even gave me yum yum sauce for my fried rice!! Although it doesn't look like it from the outside but the place was BUSY!! The windows must be tinted. I am very glad I tried this place. Definitely going to be a staple going forward. The fish is fresh, and the rice is amazing. I had a smorgasbord of: Hot Hot Roll Salmon cucumber roll Salmon Avocado roll Tuna mango roll Winters roll Hawaii roll Seaweed salad Hawaii roll was one of my favorites. Very unique with kiwi on top. All of the flavors go well together. The simplistic salmon avocado was also delicious. Highly recommend and I cannot wait to try more of their rolls. Their sushi menu is absolutely extensive, it reads like a book, but every item comes out beautifully presented and delicious. If I had to make a complaint, the huge menu of specialty rolls is not super well organized and most of them have what I'm not looking for in sushi: tempura, cooked items, cucumber, and eel. Still, I have my selections I love and will keep going back. The Christmas Tree roll is super clever and probably a new favorite. And the million roll without the chef sauce is always ordered! This has been one of my favorite places for years! Love the lunch special! Finally got to come by for dinner and it was just as great. Where else do you get a soup, couple bites of an appetizer, and a small dessert with your sushi dinner? And service is always attentive. We tried the Vet Highway roll.
