The sushi here was amazing, the waitress was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the pod thai dish smelt awfully like dog food. No joke. The chicken in the dish made it worse. It was rubbery and bland, it had no taste. It made the whole table nauseous. So if you do go here, I wouldn't order the pod thai. read more

Absolutely great service. I came in with my husband and 4 kids and the waitress didn't skip a beat. The order was taken as soon as we were ready and my kids that ordered kid's meals were served first...which is always helpful because waiting hungry children are aggravated children. Our special rolls followed shortly after and by the time we finished with our delicious rolls, our boat was ready. I called in an order tonight 2/16 for a pick up, I was told a half hour which is no big deal. I planned accordingly and ordered a pizza to be ready right around the same time. I went in to pick up the sushi around the half hour mark and I had to wait an additional half hour for it to finally be done. In total an hour. Always get take out, and have always had a good experience. I usually get the chicken Pad Thai, which is pretty good. It's not the best I've ever had, but the sauce is pretty good and it's a good portion size. I've also had a few of the sushi rolls, and the thai donuts -- all of which were really good too. I still prefer sushi at Ikaho best though. Food is always ready when they say it will be, and everyone has always been really nice. read more

I was stopping in Clermont for some food on my way down from Tallahassee and found this sushi restaurant on highway 50. Great food I have to say. Their tom yum soup is awesome and their sushi is great. I ordered the "Orgasmic" roll and it was quite delicious, along with their sushi and sashimi plates as well. The restaurant was just opened. I have visited the location when it was Gekko Sushi. Sushi Storm is under new management team. Sushi chef, server, and manager are really friendly. The place was totally improved which gives the dinning environment such a wonderful experience. Sushi Rolls are unique comparing to what we can find in the nearby area. Thai foods at the restaurant are so delicious especially the Panang Curry. We returned empty plates, we ate all the sauce :). I am glad the place is opened. We will visit often. read more

I go to Sushi Storm every change I get! The food is fantastic. They have an extensive menu with a great variety of dishes. The lunch menu is very reasonable and you get a soup and a spring roll with your order. The portions are just perfect. I have been to other places in the area and honestly nothing compares or even comes close to Sushi Storm. I love the Pad Thai and several other items that I have tried. Ate here a couple weeks ago. The food wasn't that great for the price. I've eaten here many times in the past and enjoyed it. I'm hoping it wasn't as good because it was so slow but I'd hope that they would try to focus more on quality than speed when they're slow. So I would say it can be hit or miss. It's great to have such a diverse restaurant, since I love Sushi but my fiance does not. I ordered the Dragon Roll and Unagi sushi. Delicious, with really generous portions. The roll was just perfect, pleasing to the eye and rolled tightly, without a doubt the best Dragon Roll I've ever had. The thinly sliced avocado on top, with roe underneath attaching it to the rice is a very nice touch. My Fiance for the Chicken Pad Thai and seemed to be just about perfect. We also got Gyoza as an appetizer and it too was amazing, according to her. The service was everything I could ask for. Our food was out faster than expected and as soon as my drink ran out, it was being refilled. Absolutely nothing to complain about there. It was a bit more expensive than I had anticipated, but I'd say it's more than worth it. We ordered more than we needed for sure, and I don't particularly trust or desire cheap sushi in the first place. All in all it was about $40 +tip. I'm sure I could get by with a $25 +tip lunch here no problem. I'll definitely be going again. Up until today I've been going to Gochi Sushi in Winter Garden. I finally tried this place out after hearing so much about it and I have to say that although the sushi was good, my experience wasn't all that great. I was greeted by a younger looking boy, he was nice and all, but while my friends and I ate he sat there on his phone the entire time. Once we ordered our food, the sushi chef got our order wrong and it had to be remade; it didn't take that long though. The sushi chef was talking on the phone the entire time and that is probably why he messed up our order. I found the menu to be a tad overpriced as well. I have been to restaurant with the same quality sushi but three dollars cheaper. The speciality rolls were pretty much all twelve, which is not bad, but the regular, boring rolls were also around twelve dollars. The cheapest roll I saw was $6.50. read more

The people there are friendly and low-key, making it a relaxing atmosphere. The quality of the sushi is outstanding and fresh.
