Horrible service, placed an order over the phone and got told it would be ready in 10-15 mins and waited for at least 20-30 mins to pick up. Went to pick up the order and was told it wasn't ready to wait 15 more mins, waited, went back inside and got told it wasn't done yet to wait another 15 mins that they only had one lady cooking and they were busy. Went back inside after 20 mins to check and it was finally ready just to get home try our drinks and find out they were awful, we ordered a mocha and banana boba and a mango. The mocha and banana tasted like water down chocolate milk and the mango had a sour and nasty like dirty dish taste, I called and talked to the same lady that took the order and all I got was a 'I explained to him that we were busy' not even an apology, then I asked what could be done about the drinks and she said that I could get them remade but I told her I wanted them refunded and said 'like I said' 'you can bring them back and have them remade, other ways I can't help you'. I once again asked her for a refund instead since we had literally just a sip from it and said that we could get one if they were sealed or if they haven't been drink from. I've been a customer for a while now and this experience has completely ruined my experience, since this place it's already on the pricy side the horrible service makes it not worth it. read more

I ordered from the Japanese curry section and selected chicken katsu, but when I got home, they gave us miso soup with no curry sauce. Must be another system glitch or something. So disappointing. Took my mom to lunch today and she decided to eat here. I've been here a few times before and it has always been fine. But it's pretty super underwhelming now. Especially for how expensive it is. 2 rolls, an order of yakisoba, gyoza appetizer (6 pieces) 2 beers was $75+ and the rolls completely fell apart trying to eat them. You have to order at the register the service is non existent. I don't know if the air conditioner was broken but we were sweating bullets. I got up half way through to order another beer and water, I had to get my own water from a community punch bowl and was charged $6.45 for a luke warm sapporo. Today I had a spicy crab ornigiri bento box with the pork belly bao. It also came with miso soup, salad, and sticky rice. All for only $15. I love to eat with variety so these bento boxes are perfect for that. I previously tried the teriyaki chicken box and that was tasty also! The wait was about 10 min so be prepared for that but it's worth the patience. The service is friendly and there was plenty of dining space and an area with complimentary lemon iced water. Disappointed. My wife and I, it's our first time trying out this place. We have been in Lemoore for over 3 years now and we always wondered how the food was like. First, I would like to say that customer service was good. You do have to order and pay for your food before sitting down. No issues there, but it's not a typical pay after you eat restaurant....more like a McDonald's, Burger King, or fast food joint. Inside feels really outdated and can really use a little brightness/light. For appetizers, we opted for the tempura shrimp and vegetables. You get 2 shrimp tempuras, 2 broccoli crowns, 2 onion rings, 1 slice of squash, and 1 carrot for pretty much $12. The dipping sauce was so diluted with no flavor, like just give me water to dip it in. Not sure how it came up to that price range. Kind of expensive for the small portion. Entrees. Shaking my head. We opted for the chicken Katsu. One with gravy and one without. On the menu, it says it comes with miso soup and salad. So here it goes, we never received our soup and salad. Not sure how you can mess up on the chicken katsu. But whoever the chef was that deep fried the chicken needs to take a cooking lesson. It was burnt, old, and you can see grey colors on the chicken. It felt like I was being punked. Like a kid's first time cooking. I took a few bites only and called it quits. My wife was just hungry so she ate 3/4s of her plate. The curry was the worse thing ever as well. It was pure bad all spice. I was hoping the curry would drown out the burnt chicken, but it was the worse combination of both. It ruined my appetite. I had tried many japanese restaurants before, and this is by far the worst. Nothing about the taste says Japanese, except for the tempura. The best part of the meal was the soda. The price is not worth the value. We paid a total of $54. I don't like writing negative reviews, but I hope my experience helps future customers before money is spent. My recommendation, just drive 10 more mins to Hanford and try out Toshiko. You will see and taste the difference. What could improve, is to take the time, and serve others how you would like your food to be prepared, fresh and by not burning it. Nice little sushi place in Lemoore that I've been itching to try for many years. Came here between completions at Lemoore high. Located a few stores down from savemart, very convenient and plenty of parking. The staff was very nice and was able to explain items on the menu. There's a lot going on inside. There's a menu on the wall inside that's from their location in Hanford. Apparently they don't have all the ingredients to make everything yet but you can ask and see if they can make it. I ordered two different rolls. Both were fresh and delicious. Twice already I've ordered the "Mexican" roll at a sushi place and I've been pleasantly surprised by the slice or lemon on top. Gives a nice refreshing touch with a little bit of a sour bite. Paris very nicely. For a nice down to earth experience hit this local place up. Super disappointed this time around. We came in for dining the other day and ordered Unagi Rice and the Mexican roll. Both were amazing, so we decided to order take out of the same two items tonight. Well unfortunately the rice has zero unagi sauce and tasted just the same as fried rice and the Mexican roll did not have the lime (as previously did) and it was so incredibly spicy that I could not even finish. Great Lemoore Sushi! I always love going here sushi is always great especially for the Lemoore area. I got the Hot Mama Roll: spicy crab inside and spicy tuna outside. My fiancée got the Rainbow Roll and was disappointed the first time the assorted fish on top didn't seem fresh. Luckily the owner Sonny (sorry if that's not how you spell it) came over to say hello. We go in quite often he's really friendly with all his patrons and asked us how it was. A little disappointed in the roll ... so he immediately had his sushi chef re-make it and it was much better! I love that he took care of the problem right away! The only heads up is that they no longer provide you with wasabi and ginger, due to waste. I get because I don't like it so I never used it, so just make sure you are for it when you order or when you get it. read more
