    Shishito peppers - fire roasted

Very excited to have a new restaurant in downtown Miamisburg. This is a great addition!! The inside is beautiful. Intimate and cozy. Staff is very friendly and happy to recommend items. Now, on to the food!! My husband and I are sushi lovers. We love trying new things and SushiNero was perfect for that. The hamachi crudo is AMAZING. The combination of the yellowtail, the orange, the sauces and the fried garlic pieces is like nothing I've had before. It's light yet substantial. The rolls on the menu are inventive. We tried the Atlantico with salmon, cream cheese, and asparagus topped with a piece of lemon and microgreens. Very fresh fish and a great combination. The Iberian roll has an interesting combination of plantain and steak. Neither overpowering but a nice harmony. The spicy tuna bites have a nice kick and are fun to eat (they are all over social media). The rice to tuna ratio was perfect unlike other restaurants we've eaten at. The sauce with the dumplings could be slathered on anything and it would be great. Same with the sauce that came with the pork belly. Owner visited each table during service. She's very kind and enthusiastic about the menu. Her passion is easily recognized through the menu. Just go give them a try and enjoy the experience! We will definitely be back!

The vibe of place is WONDERFUL! Very clean, minimalist style; the mood is very calm, warm, and welcoming. Clifton was very kind and attentive. Our table had a variety of orders so we could each sample a bit. The pricing-serving size ratio was surprisingly fair; we were happily surprised that we didnt break the bank with how much we ordered. The dishes and my thoughts are as followed: *The takoyaki: tasted really good, though maybe too little octopus in each piece. *Spicy Tuna Roll: It tasted fine but not spicy *The Usagi Roll: IT HAD SUCH A KICK! Followed by sweetness. I loved this Roll. *Dragon Roll: Very good! *Spicy Tuna Bomb: My whole table hopes this daily special gets added to menu permanently. The presentation, taste, and texture were wonderful! However... very messy! *Sashimi: Not much to say; pretty hard to mess that up haha We definitely plan to come back. I'm saving a star in hopes that they'll up the spice on the Spicy Tuna roll, add more octopus to the takoyaki... as well as add a curry dish of some sort... Please consider supporting this business!

New restaurant in Miamisburg! Was excited to try the fusion of Japanese and Spanish cuisine! The food didn't disappoint. Definitely recommend trying the appetizers and the matcha tiramisu they were really good, the sushi was ok. They need to work on their cocktails as that was not great! Food was well priced , quick service and the ambiance was ok.

I love Miamisburg, but I feel like the locals may have more of a love for burgers and "American boring" sports bar cuisine, ignoring the gem, SushiNero. If I lived closer, I'd be here 3x a week. Everything, and I mean everything, is outstanding. Flavor combinations so rare, you'll have to check your location to make sure you're not in California, or somewhere way outside of Miamisburg, OH. I highly recommend the Sashimi and Avocado Salad and Hamachi Crudo, but you can't go wrong with anything on their unique menu. Do yourself a favor and plan a visit to this amazing place. You will not be sorry.

Excited to try this new spot tonight. I remember the old restaurant at this previous location so we were happy to see another place open here near downtown Miamisburg. The inside was pretty and elegantly decorated. The bar was very classy and very cool. It's small so highly recommend a reservation. All of the servers were friendly and attentive. Drew took care of us and was able to give us some great recommendations from the menu. We tried a few of the tapas and sushi rolls. The food was excellent. We especially loved the Amarillo Roll, which Drew had recommended. Great little place and we will be back!

I really wanted to love this place. I have heard so many good things and have been following them since they opened. It was okay but since they are new I am hoping it will get better over time. The good- not a horrible wait. The host was friendly answered questions, and gave recommendations. Most food wasn't bad. The waitress tried. The bad- the service was horribly slow. Bless the waitress' heart because it definitely was understaffed or under managed last night. She tried but was completely overwhelmed. There was what seemed to be another waitress but I believe she must have been in training as she didn't come out much and when she did got things confused. The host tried to warn us to order sushi first as it was made fresh. This we could tell. What we didn't know is that it would also take 40 minutes to get a cocktail as well. That would come with the meal. On the upside the waitress refilled our waters about 3 times so we were very hydrated by the time the drinks and food came. Food: we ordered spicy tuna bites, Amarillo roll, dragon roll, the stuffed peppers, paella egg rolls. The spicy tuna topping was amazing! The fried sushi rice on the bottom had a good flavor but was way too hard and I felt like I was going to choke. The Amarillo roll was interesting. Not bad, not awesome. The dragon roll was yummy but way too over sauced. The stuffed peppers were by far the best thing we had last night. It was the right amount of spice. The paella egg-rolls were an interesting concept but felt like it kinda missed the mark. The roll was a bit dry so it needed the sauce. Overall, I wish them well but with so many other choices I don't think I will be back or if they last it will be a bit before we come back.

We tried SushiNero for the first time this weekend and really enjoyed our experience. The staff was super kind and food and drink were made quickly. We split a few tapas and entrees and plan on coming back to share more!

We got here just before 6pm and we snagged the last booth and people kept flooding in after us. It definitely gets busy on Friday nights. We ordered the ninja roll, the hulk roll and a shrimp tempura roll. The ninja and hulk were delicious. As was the shrimp tempura but the others were more unique. Service was great, very friendly. Now the not so great part- this place needs some renovations. It's not the most appealing once you really start looking around. The prices are steep. Also they apparently stopping selling alcohol? I see pictures of beers in previous reviews but the waiter just said "we don't have our liquor license" I didn't press it but i wanted to say SINCE WHEN???? Anyway! The sushi was good but I probably wouldn't come back on my own accord.

I keep giving them another chance because I love the concept - I'm very picky with sushi, so customization is soooo appreciated. Welp, too bad Fusian just can't seem to get it right. When I walked in to pick up my order there were no other customers. A few employees were huddled in the back corner and one person was making a roll. The roll making employee asked me my name and handed me my order then walked away. That was the entire conversation. No greeting, no smile, no thank you.. didn't even ask if I actually already had an order, just assumed. Not rude, just not friendly either. This honestly did not affect my review. It was a pick up order so I don't really care about the perfect customer service. For this final order, placed online for pick up, I got miso soup and a custom salmon roll with rice on the outside (at least that's what I requested). They made the roll opposite of my request, with rice on the inside, and they didn't close it???? They just rolled it a little then partially sliced it so when I picked up "one" piece, it dragged the entire roll with it and it fell apart completely. I tried to recreate little pieces and pack them together but it didn't work out and I threw it away out of frustration. The miso soup smelled bad and looked even worse. It was hard to capture in a picture but the miso was chunky and hard. I did not even taste it. It looked like it was days old or something. Trash again. I already responded to the companies email asking for me to rate the experience, so I feel comfortable leaving this here for others to be aware that you might not get the best quality here.

The decor is nothing special, though the place was pretty clean. I ordered a lunch special that let me choose 2 entrees so I have more variety. For this, I got the red curry and fried rice, both with pork (because I couldn't choose 2 different proteins, apparently). The red curry did not have much spice nor flavor to it, and honestly all I really tasted was sweetness. That should not be the most prominent flavor profile when having red curry, and it totally threw me off. While the fried rice did taste decent, I was not a big fan of the big chunks of baby corn in it. I personally don't believe baby corn belongs in fried rice of any kind. The other elements of the lunch special, the spring roll and the sweet potato roll, were rather mediocre. Overall, the food was not authentic AND did not taste good, so my experience was pretty bad.
