Because I have a very long and complicated autoimmune health history, have seen many doctors, and…read moretried a multitude of therapies, when it came time for me to have to find a new practitioner, I was a little discouraged. There are not a lot of functional medicine doctors with extensive experience in my area. Dr. McCool was one of a very few who happened to be local to me, and I contacted her for a phone consultation. From the first moments of the call, I felt very comfortable. She listened patiently, was empathetic, and very personable. I felt an immediate rapport with her that I did not experience with the other practitioners I spoke with. She took me on as a patient and we have been working together for several months. I was motivated to write this review because it is not common to find many doctors these days who really take their time with you, listen, address all of your questions and concerns, make you feel valued as a patient, and express their commitment to helping restore your health. It is important to have that feel-good connection and trust with your provider, and sometimes it takes a bit of searching to find it. I am so thankful that I was led to Dr. McCool and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable AND caring doctor.

Spent $800 out of pocket last month. One sick visit to get antibiotics. Two visits (double the…read moreprice) that should have been one visit because I was kicked out when we "ran out of time" to discuss my case. So I had to suffer another couple weeks to get another appointment on top of paying twice to get care. Then referred me to a "specialist" who offered no further value at all (probably another $200-300 out of pocket because UHC insurance is almost exactly like having no insurance at all). Then the office staff went back and forth with me for a week, gaslighting me and not answering my questions as I was trying to get a RX from them that I could actually fill. It felt like they weren't actually reading my message at all, just skimming it and replying with half answers or repeating the same information as before that I needed clarification on. At a previous appointment, another doctor was kind in person but then did the most infantilising and condescending thing with my 2 prescriptions. He post dated them so I could only fill the first one. Yup, he gave a busy, sick mom an extra errand. We're apparently not to be trusted to finish one medication first before starting the second one. And they send a bazillion reminder emails texts, pings. I usually have to check in online multiple times, reply to confirm the appointment several times (or risk losing it). Avoid if you value your productivity.

I saw the TV commercial for the regenerative clinic and I asked my doctor. She said not enough information not FDA approved.. and I said I'm in PAIN. the cortizone shot, shock wave therapy, electrical acupuncture, and massages. Nothing worked. Frozen shoulder is painful. . I made my appointment. Dr. Manning was doing the PRP injections. My elbow went against my rib cage and froze. Kind of scary, They sent me home in a sling. The next day, it released about noon. After my PRP injections, I've been accelerating healing. At night time, I woke me up to a tingling sensation instead of pain. I could feel it healing me. I went back and got my neck, tailbone, and lower shoulder. And then I had to go back and get the left side of my neck, I had bone spurs in my left side. they itched.. A full adjustment at the chiropractor's a breeze now. My spine is at phase 2. I've been rear-ended three times and once from the side. I'm grateful for PRP injections. Thank you to Dr. Manning and the crew at Oregon regenerative clinic. Robin Dorgan

I'm 2 weeks out from my procedure on both knees and I can't believe how good I feel. (I previously…read morehad my left meniscus removed and my right one had a bucket tear that was very painful) I looked into flying to Europe for this procedure after my doctor telling me I need to have both knees replaced.I kept resetting looking for something more local and found ORM. I met with Dr Perterson and was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise. I made an appointment with him for the procedure and when I got there the office staff was very pleasant. The first thing they did was draw my blood which was done painlessly and quickly. After that I went in and had fat removed to get the stem cells needed for injection. After both the blood and stem cells were processed they numbed both of my knees and began the injection process. It was pretty simple with very little pain. I was able to walk to my car after the procedure and went home. Later that evening there was some pain and it was pretty hard for me to walk. Going up or down stairs was pretty much out of the question. I spoke to the office team and they told me to put heat on my knees and the pain went away in minutes. By the 2nd day I was able to navigate stairs and every day after that I saw improvement. One of the best things for me was within 3 days I was able to sleep through the night. I had gone 8 months of sleeping 15 minutes at a time moving and being in pain and waking up. Its great to be able to sleep again! After 2 weeks I'm able to walk without pain climb stairs and do most of my regular workouts. That brings me to my appointment today with Dr. Baker for PT. She was also excellent, talked to me about my progress showed me a bunch of exercises to continue to do and told me to keep using heat on my knees at least once a day. I feel so fortunate to have found ORM and had my procedure done there. I look forward to gaining strength and being able to do the things I love without pain!
