But Laurie's amazing! She was recommended to me by Michelle Graves (who is also amazing) when Michelle was on leave. I never thought about this until I read someone else's review but Laurie really is a wonderful listener with a calming presence. I've had a lot of stress in my life in the past from work and a car accident. Seeing Laurie improves my pain level and overall health. But I always leave Laurie's office much more relaxed and less stressed - I think in part it's her presence in addition to her skills as an acupuncturist. She takes care of muscle spasms, allerigies, insomnia, stress to just name a few. Like Teresa said, she will also offer suggestions for herbal remedies (even via email) and never pushes a sell which I've experienced before. I'm torn between Laurie and Michelle because both are the best. Bonus is Laurie has night hours. So I had to suffer another couple weeks to get another appointment on top of paying twice to get care. Then referred me to a "specialist" who offered no further value at all (probably another $200-300 out of pocket because UHC insurance is almost exactly like having no insurance at all). Then the office staff went back and forth with me for a week, gaslighting me and not answering my questions as I was trying to get a RX from them that I could actually fill. It felt like they weren't actually reading my message at all, just skimming it and replying with half answers or repeating the same information as before that I needed clarification on. At a previous appointment, another doctor was kind in person but then did the most infantilising and condescending thing with my 2 prescriptions. He post dated them so I could only fill the first one. Yup, he gave a busy, sick mom an extra errand. We're apparently not to be trusted to finish one medication first before starting the second one. And they send a bazillion reminder emails texts, pings. I usually have to check in online multiple times, reply to confirm the appointment several times (or risk losing it). Avoid if you value your productivity.

I called the billing department and told them I didn't have an office visit. Just a zoom called and the Doctor prescribed me some medication over the phone. The guy in charge of the billing department told me the zoom charge and office visit are the same price. Is that even allowed??? Anyways, this will be my last time using Northwest Primary Care as my go to Family doctors. I been going to this business for the last 20 years.
