I am a patient of the practice Sonoma Neurology Pain and Management is here in Petaluma and I see…read moreDr. Jeremy Goodwin. I was desperate because of nerve pain I was suffering after my left upper lung was removed. I honestly can't say enough great things about him. He listens and ask questions. No rushing ever. I always feel heard and my questions answered. He is one of the kindest most compassionate doctors I have ever been to. He is very knowledgeable and discussed a few other problems that he didn't have to but took the time anyway. If you are looking for a neurologist who is professional is a wealth of information, compassionate and so very kind Dr. Goodwin is your doctor. I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor. The office staff is Lisa. We are all so lucky to have her. She has a lot on her plate so to speak and always handles things professionally and is very kind. She puts me at ease before I even see Dr. Goodwin. How she does all that she does I don't know. She's an A+. They have made a huge difference in my life and I am very grateful.

I had 2 major surgeries for scoliosis and have had back pain to also cope with. She was amazing then and still is. Dr. Chagnon never seems in a hurry and is a good listener, rare with doctors. Lisa, office manager, is efficient and my appts are scheduled 3 months ahead. The office returns emails in a timely manner. I still experience pain but Dr. Chagnon's care has alleviated much of it so that I am able to have a quality life. For that, I am so grateful.

We were assigned to Dr.Taylor through North Bay Hospital after my Mom had fallen and had a very…read moresevere brain bleed. Once she was released from the hospital and was in an acute rehab facility, we went to see her after her most recent CT scan. We literally spent maybe 10 minutes in her office. She was curt and does not have the best chair side manner. I would ask questions in behalf of my mother and she was not very forthcoming of any information with regard to why my mother fell. She just kept repeating " there is no more bleeding and no more swelling in the brain " . " We're good" ... When we would ask questions about weakness in her lower extremities and unsteady gait she had no answers. When I asked about what we could do about finding the appropriate SSRI for her that might work better than what she was on now she skirted out of this by saying " not my department sorry" .. she barely wrote any Physician's notes for the Rehab facility. I felt it was a complete waist of time and my Mother's time. The Medical Assistant was very friendly and knowledgeable maybe she should become a Neurologist and trade places with her. We will be going back to her original Neurologist. I would give this Physician zero stars if I could.

I hadn't realized it, but my feet were beginning to hurt more and in odd ways. I first had a physical therapist and when I finally relayed my plight to Dr. Taylor she confirmed it was due to my back issues...continuous damage over the years plus the new injuries. In fact, she cleared me for emergency surgery, which she flew back from the East Coast to perform on December 27th, 2022...yes, two days after Christmas!!! Dr. Taylor saved - if not my life -certainly my way of life. Thank you!!!!!! Dr. Taylor is also very personable, knowledgeable, able to speak easily to us laymen, shows great compassion and frankly, wants the best for each patient.

My mom is in her 80s and was seen at John Muir for memory issues. What I want to say very clearly:…read more A person with memory issues does NOT REMEMBER that they can't remember. I went with her and very clearly stated all of the issues in front of both my Mom and Donna S. Donna S suggested that her other doctors consider prescribing Donepezil - for memory issues and an amyloid blood test. However, when she went to Sherille Sevilla and Maridez Jenkins she does not remember all that was discussed and agreed. She tells them all that she was tired when she did the 3 hour assessment and it was not valid. I don't know why the doctors don't coordinate more and understand the report and all the notes. It is very clear from both the assessment and my statements to them that she has severe short term memory issues. The fact that instead of using the assessment and my very specific details they listen to her when she says that she is fine (because she does not remember anything) is just ridiculous. My understanding is that many of the prescriptions for memory only stop the progress. This means taking them sooner is better. This is not the first signs of memory issues for her at all. This has been ongoing and I finally had hope that doctors would help her and start addressing the issues. But they COMPLETELY FAILED us. Now I don't know what to do. She thinks everything is fine and it is truly terrible and sad. She was a college professor and incredibly smart. And her decline is awful - but made SO MUCH WORSE by doctors who do not coordinate and do not listen.
