Non friendly or helpful staff. The staff are rude and seem to not like their jobs. This is not the hospital to come to or get help from.

I was very impressed with the organization of the staff and care. Everyone was busy and professional. They all just did their jobs and nobody was complaining or looking unhappy. It took a little while for the exam and stitches and discharge and they apologized for the amount of time. I felt that even though my injury was an emergency, I was treated in an appropriate time frame and I'm sure there were way worst illnesses and injuries than mine. I received messages to make sure I had follow up care which I had already arranged with my primary doctor. Although I certainly hope I will have no reason for a return ER visit, it was a positive experience.

Instead of helping us out, he started raising his voice and yelling that we should be able to get it transferred to us. When our pharmacist tried to explain that our electronic system did not allow us to transfer narcotic prescriptions between the 2 pharmacies, he became more rude, started raising his voice more and kept repeating himself. First of all, he is not the one prescribing the medication and he should have called the provider who sent the prescription so we could talk to them to send RX to the right pharmacy instead of wasting our time arguing while the patient is in pain! Secondly, we also needed a clarification on the order which he did not forward to the provider then hung up on us and when we called back, he wouldn't answer. Maybe he has only worked at a hospital pharmacy and does not understand that not all retail pharmacy systems are set up to transfer a narcotic prescription. He should be trained to learn how to speak over the phone before calls are simply transferred to him. Yelling and repeating himself on the phone instead of getting to a solution is the last thing anyone needs from a pharmacist, let alone a hospital pharmacist who should be able to handle much more than usual given the type of work they do.

Firstly, the nurses are so sweet, so attentive, and made me feel so welcomed. I'm saying this from someone who did unfortunately have a traumatic c section experience (not the doctors fault, just circumstances). Although all the nurses were amazing I would like to recognize two amazing nurses who really made me feel seen and advocated for me, Nurse Jackie and Nurse Tabitha ( I hope that's how I spell their names). I will definitely always remember them and we're definitely the highlight of my experience. I'd hopefully like to nominate them for a daisy award. I'd also like to give a shout out to how clean the facility felt even the bathrooms.. I didn't have that same experience with my last delivery at another location .The food was decent, I wasn't really hungry during my visit but according to my vistors who did try the food they said it was pretty good. Overall I rate my experience 10/10. Thank you Kaiser Modesto L&D for turning this traumatic birth experience into something that ended up being amazing.

The car was totaled and the ambulance had to cut me out of the car without being able to walk they had to put me on a gurney I don't know what they were thinking by taking me to a County Hospital where they treat their patients like crap I'm guessing it was the closest but if it was up to me I would have told them don't take me there please because all that I experienced I was pissed. Nurses talking to me like I didn't matter doctors not answering my questions nor taking my instructions that I needed a MRI done cuz I wasn't a lot of pain. Jamie the nurse try to tell me he was a doctor little does he know I know how to do research he is not a doctor nor can he give any kind of recommendation about what's going on with my injuries. I came through the emergency room by Gurnee I wasn't even rushed to a room I was rushed to a area where people were screaming and yelling prisoners on beds strapped down the staff acted like they didn't hear them or didn't care and then when I started to ask questions and start screaming telling them I had to use the bathroom it took them more than four times two even a 10 to me because I said if someone does not get me to the bathroom ASAP I'm going to urinate all over this bed. That's when Jamie came to me and told me we don't act like that here I said I don't know how you act I said because this is a county hospital number one I see nothing but prisoners I'm not a prisoner nor am I ever been to jail I said but the way you treat people I see this is a reason why you guys have a low score if you ever have a reason to go to a hospital direct to your ambulance to go somewhere else immediately because they don't care about what is happening to you or your condition they do very little to comfort you this is the reason I got up and left the hospital and went to UC Davis where I was treated with kindness and superb care from the doctors showing me the difference between One hospital to another. If I could give zero stars for this hospital I would have done it but with all their bad reviews this should warn people do not go to this Hospital except it is the last place you have options too . Nurses don't act like they don't hear people in the background screaming in pain nurses do not act like they're even nurses I don't know how they even have a job and doctors just roam around and talk like they're on their breaks. I've already got in touch with a lawyer because of how I was treated in the hospital and the injuries I got from the serious car crash and tomorrow I will be calling the hospital and talking to the director he better take me serious or there's going to be more problems than he knows what to do with and I don't know why they called five security guards to watch me and my sister like back of my mind I was thinking what are you supposed to be here doing watching us you have no gun you have no taser and like I said in the hallway is nothing but beds full of prisoners from the jail that is next door.

Not narcotics, not anything fun, not anything sellable on the street... just regular-ass blood pressure meds to keep my heart working. I called it in five days in advance of running out. 5 days. When calling it in I was given no push back or any notion that my meds would not be filled. Not a single hint. So after the five days when I'd run out of such meds I went to the pharmacy to pick up my refill. And turns out only one of the refills was sent. They had to give me loaner pills so I don't drop dead. What the hell is even going on with this office? Ever since they became Muir medical group I can't get my medicine refilled ever without some kind of giant hiccup! These aren't narcotics. These are blood pressure pills so I don't croak! This is so insane. The doctors here are very good. I love my doctor! But this office is so screwed up and unorganized, unethical, and doesn't care someone could just die without their meds.... I'm looking for a new dr now after several incidents regarding refilling my blood pressure meds. Enough is enough. Again these doctors rule! But the office has ruined their practice and made it completely terrible. I have family members that go here that have had the same bad experience with trying to get their meds. I have had multiple situations where I need blood pressure meds and they've been so nonchalant and just "they will get refilled when they get refilled" with zero worry about my physical safety. I'm done. Everyone in this office should be examined for termination. This place is a cesspool for garbage and unethical employees. Everything is about dollars and healthcare means nothing at all. If you work here You should all really reflect on the type of person you are and really analyze what you're okay with. Are you okay with a normal guy dying from cardiac arrest over a mistake you made involving med refills? You are all just cool with a dude dying of a heart attack. This office is the worst thing of the worst. I urge you not to go here. Again, the doctors here rule!!!! But the office is run by nimrods.

I am writing to express my concern about my recent experience at the Kaiser Emergency Department…read more The wait times are extremely long, often lasting 4-5 hours before being seen by a provider. What is particularly frustrating is that there are times when the waiting area appears nearly empty or has very few patients, yet patients are still left waiting for several hours without any clear explanation or updates. In addition, I was disappointed with the level of customer service I received. Staff members were not communicative about delays, and it was difficult to get information about the status of my visit. As a patient seeking emergency care, this lack of communication and support added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. I understand that emergency departments can be busy and that patient care is prioritized based on medical urgency. However, better communication, transparency about wait times, and improved customer service would greatly improve the patient experience. I would appreciate it if this feedback could be reviewed and addressed to help improve care for patients in the future. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

From the moment I was admitted, I felt cared for with so much warmth, empathy, and genuine good intention. Every person I encountered made me feel safe, heard, and supported during one of the most vulnerable and emotional moments of my life. A special shoutout to my nurses. Shawna, who cared for me during my early labor and made me feel comforted and encouraged from the start. I'm also so grateful to Sarah and Evelyn, who were with me during my delivery and showed such patience, kindness, and professionalism. During postpartum, Connie and Liezl were absolutely wonderful -- they cared for my baby and me with so much compassion and attentiveness. Even gave me tips on newborn cre and breastfeeding. The doctors were astounding as well. I'm especially grateful for my main OB-GYN throughout my pregnancy, Dr. Dela Merced, who advocated for me and truly tried to help me have a vaginal delivery. I also want to thank Dr. Nahar, who was very reassuring when I was admitted due to labor exhaustion, along with all the in-house physicians who supported me throughout the process. A very special thank you to Meghan, my anesthesiologist, who was not only amazing at helping with pain relief and a smooth epidural experience, but also somehow took great photos during my C-section! She was absolutely wonderful and made me feel calm, safe, and cared for. Beyond the medical care, I also want to recognize the rest of the team. The food was surprisingly great, and the celebratory meal was such a sweet touch. The people delivering the food were always friendly and kind, and they even gave me extra food sometimes for my husband, which we truly appreciated. The security guards at Labor and Delivery were also consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My heart truly goes out to every person at the Sutter Health Delta Labor and Delivery unit. Thank you for giving me a beautiful and positive birth experience as a first-time mom. I felt supported from beginning to end, and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone. I would absolutely come back again if time permits.

Today's visit to the ER was frustrating and unacceptable…read more 1. When we checked in, the doctor didn't listen to my 3‑year‑old's lungs, didn't approach him, and didn't perform a basic physical exam. She immediately tried to dismiss his symptoms as "just a virus going around," even though I clearly explained why we came in. My son was in the pool from 12 to 5 yesterday, and a few hours after we got home he started throwing up. He has continued vomiting nonstop all the way through our time in the hospital. 2. Even though his oxygen level was at 96%, that does not justify skipping a lung exam. Oxygen readings only show how he's breathing in that moment they do not rule out aspiration, irritation from pool water, or anything developing in his lungs. Considering the prolonged pool exposure and persistent vomiting, listening to his lungs should have been one of the first steps. We even requested X‑rays, yet no one examined his lungs or took the symptoms seriously. A normal oxygen level does not replace a physical assessment, and it should not be used as an excuse to dismiss what's happening with him. 3. After they gave him a nausea pill, he threw up again in the room. Even though it wasn't a huge amount, it was enough to make him uncomfortable. I politely asked for the sheets to be changed, and I kept thanking the staff member who came in. Instead of responding professionally, she gave me silence and a grudge‑filled look, followed by a comment that "it wasn't even a lot." That kind of attitude is completely inappropriate, especially toward a parent trying to keep their sick child comfortable. 4. We were eventually discharged, and the X‑ray came back clear, but even then, the doctor still hadn't physically checked him until I directly asked her to. Maybe I'm wrong about what's causing his symptoms, but that doesn't dismiss the lack of patient care we experienced. A 3‑year‑old deserves a proper exam, respectful communication, and attention to comfort. None of that happened today. 5. Even with normal results, I'm still not at peace. The lack of care, the dismissive attitude, and the fact that basic steps were skipped make me question whether the staff were acting ethically. A parent shouldn't have to beg for a physical exam or be treated with attitude for asking for clean sheets. The professionalism and patient care we received today were unacceptable. I will continue monitoring my child closely because the way this visit was handled does not give me confidence in the care we received. I just know not to come back here again. I rather take a 30 minute drive to John Muir or go to Kaiser.
