Separate areas for cars and trucks mean that you can perhaps nap in your car without hearing an idling diesel engine all night. Today there were 29 spaces available, there are sensors embedded in the asphalt at each truck parking space that constantly updates this information so it's always been accurate and dependable. I did a short walk around the RV checking the tires, the tow-bar for the toad and other critical things before getting back on the road, I also took the short walk to the facilities to stretch my legs and found this rest area in tip top shape and saw several members of the staff working to keep it that way. This is definitely a rest area I'll return too in the future, it's all good here...

Approximately 200,000 acres of pine flatwoods and cypress-hardwood swamps beaming with tons of wildlife. Named after the Infamous Seminole warrior "Osceola" who was a American Indian leader during the second Seminole war, which began in 1835 when the US Zionist government forced the Seminole tribe off of their traditional God given lands in Florida for expanding white exploitation and settlement, forcing them to migrate into the Indian territories west of the Mississippi river. There were 3 horrific Seminole "wars" before the Civil war. Long story short, Under General Andrew Jackson, the US Military invaded the area here, burning to the ground the Indian villages and towns and at the same time, seized Spanish-held Pensacola. As a result, Spain was induced to cede its Florida territory under the terms of the Transcontinental treaty in 1819. Hence the City of 5 flags, as Pensacola was occupied by Spain, America, France, Britain & the Confederacy. The Indians fought hard thou using "Guerrilla war tactics" & withdrew into the Everglades. In October of 1837 "Osceola" went to St. Augustine with several Chiefs under a flag of truce to attend a parley with General T.S. Jesup. And as in typical fashion of our corrupt US Zionist Government, "Osceola" and the Chiefs, yep, all the bad Indians, were seized and imprisoned. "Osceola" was then taken to Ft. Moultrie at Charleston, South Carolina, where he later died. "Osceola" National Forest is not just a pretty park the US Zionist Government gave us for our amusement. It was the home of the Seminole. One cool thing this rest area has in the back is a solar panel farm and they have an observation deck. The gate was closed when I was there, but I still could see it. There is plenty of parking and it is well laid out. There are also plenty of pavilions to sit under to enjoy a meal or just chill. I am impressed with the new layout of this rest area and would recommend that you stop here if you are on Interstate 10 and need a break from the road. Plus, you can see a solar panel farm while you are here. Overall, I will give it five stars.

Nobody is confusing this place with the Disney World of gas stations. But Busy Bee absolutely wants you to know it studied the Buc-ee's playbook in great detail and copied enough homework to pass the class. And honestly? Respect. After hours on the road, I pulled in needing gas, caffeine, food, a restroom, and probably some emotional reassurance from the highway gods. Busy Bee delivered on most of it. First off, the bathrooms were clean. Not "gas station clean." Actually clean. That alone immediately moves a roadside stop up at least one full star in America's travel grading system. Then came the snack exploration phase. They had homemade jerky, specialty snacks, random road trip impulse purchases, and enough "well I wasn't planning to buy this but here we are" items to keep me wandering around longer than intended. It's the kind of place where you walk in for a drink and somehow leave holding candied pecans, smoked sausage, and a giant bag of pork rinds you'll later regret in silence. The overall vibe was solid too. Convenient. Clean. Easy stop. Good energy from the place itself. The employees though? Let's just say the staff had the collective facial expression of people who may have originally applied at Buc-ee's and ended up here after the universe made other plans. Nobody was rude. But there was definitely an emotional support shift happening behind the counter. Still, for a highway stop, Busy Bee absolutely gets the job done. It's a good place to refuel both your gas tank and your stomach before heading back into the chaos of interstate survival.
