The rooms are huge, the beds are soft (too soft for me), and the bedding is like sleeping on clouds. They have everything you need to never have to leave really. Lots of entertainment, books, pool, and beautiful grounds to relax around. We had the pleasure of staying in the Gray room with a private balcony. The balcony is overlooking the koi pond. It's a great place to drink your morning coffee while lounging on the swing or in the rocking chairs. The breakfast is made in the house daily, the menu changes daily, and every day, it was SO good. We really looked forward to what we were having the next morning. Hosts are so great, I'm extremely sad we didn't spend more time here.

Upon arriving, you can't help but notice how stunningly beautiful and well maintained the property is. 'Meticulous care' is how I would describe everything about Ellis Inn. Not a single weed or blade of grass out of place, but not at all unwelcoming or stuffy. Delightful. We lugged our suitcases up the stairs and found our room. Large, simple and beautiful with a great view of the property from the balcony. The bathroom was luxurious and spotless. The suite is located on the first floor right next to the main entrance door. Pros: large room with propane fireplace. Kitchenette w hot plate, pans, plates, glasses and small refrigerator. Bed is very comfy. Small table w chairs for dining. Two comfy swivel chairs to relax. Very clean. 20%discount at the Butlers Pantry. Parking in back of house. Locker for skis. Cons: very loud room as they allow the patrons for the restaurant to use the main entrance so people line up outside your door early and talk very loud. They have two other restaurant entrances and the owners really should make the patrons use that entrance vs the main entrance. So plan on it being loud from 0730 AM to after 1200pm. Yelp has a 20% discount if you check in on the app for 2 nights or more. The coupon is outdated and the owners never responded to my inquiry. The coupon should be taken down as I didn't see how it could be redeemed anyway since you must pay in full 14 days prior to your stay and the hotel is self check in. Overall, a lovely stay minus the noisy room.

We were in Jericho for a business meeting and did not feel like making the long drive at night, back to New Hampshire. I searched for a place to stay for the night and that is how I found the Sinclair Inn Bed & Breakfast. The gorgeous home is full of charm and history and all the lovely small details of a turn of the century home. Kyle and Holly were thoughtful and willing to accommodate our dietary needs. Our breakfast was incredible. Kyle made sweet potato waffles and blueberry compote. He also make yogurt parfait with fresh fruit. Since I am a vegetarian, Kyle cooked homemade veggie sausage patties. Fresh hot and delicious coffee, orange juice and cranberry juice completed this perfect breakfast. When we are in the Jericho area again, this will be our go to place to stay. The room was comfortable and immaculate and had everything we needed. Down the hall from our room, they have a small room that guests can use. They have a full size fridge with a freezer. It was stocked with bottled water and various soda/seltzer water. We had leftover food from lunch and it was so convenient to have a place to put our food for later. This room also has a microwave and K-cup coffee pods and coffee maker. I'm so grateful that this historic and amazing home is being cared for so lovingly by Holly and Kyle. Homes like this are so special and must be preserved. There is a nice parking lot right outside the inn. Best place we have stayed in years.
