I've taken my dog Milo here a few times. He's a 7lb Yorkie/Maltese. I like that the same person takes care of him each time. They have many options for dogs with sensitive skin as well. They update you if they need to go shorter or if they notice anything on your dog. Prices are fair and Milo always looks great after. I bounced around looking for a groomer for my dog for the last couple of years. Haven't needed to now that I've found Suzie's place. read more

My 9 year old Yorkie, Bruiser, has Cerebellum Dysplasia, a permanent neurological condition that causes him to shake, lose his balance, and walk like he wobbles. The groomer he'd gone to for 8 years retired this year and it took a long while to find Lulu, so we were heart broken that Bruiser's lifeliong beloved groomer and friend was no longer in business. Because of Bruiser's special needs, it's hard to find a groomer who would accept him as a client. Before coming to Suzie's, I read a lot of Yelp reviews, and based on Suzie's, I made an appointment. The staff were patient, loving, caring and sweet - way beyond what I thought. When I picked Bruiser up, I almost didn't recognize him; he looked so handsome and sharp. Kellie, I believe is her name, is the best of the best. I couldn't picture a cleaner, more inviting, and pleasant atmosphere than Suzie's. After a few satisfactory visits with Suzie, I'm done with her. This last visit, she cut my dog's paw while grooming him. Picture attached. Today, it is still bothering him, and he is limping. Her excuse was that some dogs move too much during grooming and get cut. No sincere apology, no accountability, and no waiver of payment. It was the dog's fault and it happens. She also left him full of small mats that I was able to easily comb out in 20 minutes or so. Just laziness. If I can do it with ease, why can't she do it as the grooming professional? I'm sure she will blame me, blame my dog, blame anyone, but will not take accountability for her lack of focus and attention to detail. But, this is my honest experience and my honest opinion. We are visiting the Fort Lauderdale area for 5 weeks, and our yorkie poos were in serious need of grooming. well its definitely not a 5 star. when i walked in smelled like dog. Very small. The employees were there just to do their job. Had no personality. Didn't ike they cut my dogs ears too short. Didnt feel or look like they clipped her nails. Not sure. I just didn't like the place . I have been to way better places. this place was rated 5 star so i tried it. read more

If there was a negative star I would put a -5. Took my puppy there for the first time because a friend of mine referred me to this place. When I picked up my puppy, he was cut so short you could see his birth spots. I had to buy a shirt because he was shaking so bad.
