I dropped in Suzy Shier about a month ago, and I was impressed. The staff were happy, and they had an awesome selection of clothes. (It's been awhile since I have shopped here).
If you love cheap dress pants, modern blazers, sheer embellished blouses, peplum tanks and leggings, then this store is for you! The only downside is that the racks were PACKED!
A month later....
Today I decided to treat myself and get some much needed work clothes. I found a couple of items that I wanted to try on, and then was approached by a sales associate. She asked if I was doing OK. I asked her for a specific item, and her and her coworker both said that they did not have any, which I later found on a rack.
The two associates working tonight really did not look like they enjoyed their job. They both looked M-I-S-S-E-R-A-B-L-E, and were more concerned with giving customers dirty looks and gossiping. I really just wanted to get my items and get the hell out of there.
One associate did check up on me when I was trying on clothes, but it was not sincere, and it was forced. I could tell by her tone.
I must mention they make their clothes a little big. I am usually at least a large or XL for bottoms, but I left with a size medium bottoms. I think their sizes are made larger, if that makes sense?
While checking out, the cashier gave her whole speech on why I should sign up for their store card and it will only cost me $10 more dollars. I cut her off 2 minutes into her whole speech and told her I would pass, which seemed to pissed her off even more.
You know that feeling that you get after you purchase an item? You know, that instant gratification, happy, excited feeling? Yeah I love that feeling. Unfortunately I did not get that feeling this time. The staff just killed that feeling for me.
Minus 2 stars for customer service. I guess it goes to show that a place can be good one night depending on who is staffed, and it could be a total miss another night if you have grouchy, unhappy workers.
