First, they didn't properly install the drain for the main bathroom tub. They were quick to come out on the warranty work, but did have to cut into our new drywall and would not repaint. Next, the overflow drain from the where the HVAC unit sits was covered with particulate, causing the drain not to be effective, leaving water all over our carpeted floor. This required a service call. Once the drain was cleared of material, it was clear that they had not installed the overflow drain into the main drainage exit. This was another service call required after the other should have fixed it. Finally, today, I had to call a different plumber as there was a stain on the ceiling under my main shower. The new plumbers cut a hole in the ceiling and confirmed that the work performed by JL&SP was insufficient to keep the drain from overflowing. I would not trust them with any future work and clearly have had to have others come in to straighten up what they missed. With zero walls to have to work around, they couldn't get it right. Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.
