This time another $483 now total about $1000. I was quoted to replace the coil which is $4339 which is one year warranty. I'm sure they're scamming me for the truth. I called another HVAC my neighbor referred me. They came out with no charge inspected my HVAC unit from the leaks got a complete install for 10 years warranty for $1466. They came out within a week later with the coil and installed professionally done. Fayette Heating & Air wanted $4339 compared to $1466 it's a big scammer Fayetta. And I can see you got lots of complaints with 1 & 2 Stars you should stop this scams practices. $1466 professional installed instead by another HVAC Company. You were trying to scam me for $4339

Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.

My system was running well and did not need any service, when the Technician left, my system was not operating the same as when he started, My Central Air was not cooling my house and the system blower sounded different. I have lived in my house long enough to know how it sounds and feels, The person who worked on my system created the problem in order to create a service call and an unnecessary bill for a problem that he inserted. This is not the way to maintain customers or good reviews. If your service is not broken, the service person should not be out generating revenue. I was very concerned when he was measuring the amount of Freon as I heard a loud hiss as the vapors were being released. BTW, the same service person bypassed a safety cut-off device in my furnace last winter and, I had to buy the electrical device and reinstall it for the safety of my home. I am very dissatisfied with their procedures.

Dave came over the next day and we got service at a reasonable price. Dave not only fixed our problem but spent time helping us figure out how to prevent the issue from happening again. He took us step by step through the process and even explained that it's actually pretty normal to have some buildup in the pvc pipes from dripping water lines. This was above and beyond and much appreciated. And we weren't gouged the service. When this happened we were concerned because we have had bad experiences with plumbers in the past. First, they didn't properly install the drain for the main bathroom tub. They were quick to come out on the warranty work, but did have to cut into our new drywall and would not repaint. Next, the overflow drain from the where the HVAC unit sits was covered with particulate, causing the drain not to be effective, leaving water all over our carpeted floor. This required a service call. Once the drain was cleared of material, it was clear that they had not installed the overflow drain into the main drainage exit. This was another service call required after the other should have fixed it. Finally, today, I had to call a different plumber as there was a stain on the ceiling under my main shower. The new plumbers cut a hole in the ceiling and confirmed that the work performed by JL&SP was insufficient to keep the drain from overflowing. I would not trust them with any future work and clearly have had to have others come in to straighten up what they missed. With zero walls to have to work around, they couldn't get it right. What will they do in your house?
