I'm updating this review because I recently received another promotional text from her business advertising holiday mini sessions, and it reminded me that this situation was never resolved. I would personally not recommend booking with this photographer, especially if you have young children or are coordinating a family. Things happen with kids, traffic, and getting an entire family ready. Based on my experience, there was very little flexibility or grace when there was confusion surrounding our session time--even though we were at the beach at 5:50 for what we understood to be a 6:00 PM session. What continues to bother me most is that no photography service was ultimately provided, yet the entire $175 payment was kept, and I was asked to pay an additional $125 to reschedule. Almost a year later, my opinion has not changed. I wish I had known how this situation would be handled before I booked, which is why I'm leaving this update for other families to consider before paying in advance.

Problem was that we discussed prior to the signing of the contract that we would like to have our pictures edited a certain way. More dark and cool, not so shaded and tan/warms. We wanted this cause it would look beautiful with the dark trees of the forest as well as my dark hair against my pale skin. I also didn't want my skin blending into my ivory dress. We gave her 3 example pictures of how we would like it as well. She agreed on many occasions that it would be okay. We also verified with her on the DAY OF our wedding that it would be done that way and she assured us. When we received our pictures 3 weeks later, NONE of them were as discussed and when we told her what we discussed she then deleted ALL of our pictures (about 150-200) from the link and only re-edited about 15 of them to the picture editing we discussed. Not to mention they were done very quickly and just looked really bad. My face looked dark. I was able to download most of them before she deleted them from the link but it's more so a disappointment because it was not what we disused and we can't get this day back. This was suppose to be a really BIG SPECIAL time in our lives. I live with this sadness now. So disappointed. Edit: I have attached our email correspondence and the 3 pictures we asked for the editing to look like and she agreed she could do BEFORE we signed the contract. I also attached the photos she took and edited. Her editing style is pretty, yes but it's the fact that it's not what we all discussed and agreed upon. We were under the impression of at least receiving 50-50 her style and the style we discussed but that's not what happened. At the end of the day my husband and I decided to just take what we got and move forward because it's not like anything will change and there are 2 sides to every story. This review is written because we are hurt and disappointed but it is what it is.
