That's why often when a neon signs stop working or the glass breaks, they just get pitched in the dumpster. Then has to be a special sign when the repair costs more than the sign. Mine was. Called and explained mine would flash for a second and go out. Immediately diagnosed as a faulty transformer and given a price to replace. I drop off the sign and away we go. No communication until I follow up a couple of weeks later and I'm told yep transformer but also some neon needs to be replaced and the price is nearly double the initial quote if I proceed. Of course right... I know when I switched that sign on 20 times, trying to get it to work, the whole thing lit up. I was told you'd only see it if it stayed on and to be fair they did offer to send me a photo to show me (it didn't come through but they tried). At this point we negotiated to a price between what I was told initially and the higher price so that was fair. I go to pick up the sign and there are two transformers and two plugs, basically the old one was not broken just not powerful enough to drive the entire sign. I asked about the two plugs and was told common for large signs. My sign is a lakefront brewery beer sign. I have four other brewery signs in my garage and none of them has two plugs. This matters to me because one you didn't do what you said, which was replace the old transformer with a more powerful one that powers the entire sign. Second while two plugs maybe doesn't matter to some, I have many things plugged in so outlet space is a premium. They suggested I just buy an adapter and plug them both into it, but honestly while of course that will work, that's not really a professional repair I paid $185 for... to summarize when my sign broke and I emailed Lakefront Brewery to see if they had a repair contact, Russ emailed me back saying it's just not worth it. I should have listened to him. John

Yes, there are the big box stores but I have usually shopped at the private stores. I was in need of earrings and did a search. I found Lake Country and decided to drive over to see what inventory they had. Driving up to the store immediately made you wonder if you were in the right place as it was a well manicured farm, farm house, outbuilding for another business and the stand alone jewelry store. Country looking building. Walked in to see show cases outlining the front room and in the back was the repair equipment. I was treated immediately by Michelle and she asked me all sorts of questions to try and narrow down my search. Showed me many options and explained the differences. I needed something special for a birthday that would also be used for an upcoming wedding and eventually I found exactly what I was looking for. Never any pressure. We discussed pricing and they wrapped it for me. And the gift...her eyes were wide as saucers when she opened it, and she loves the earrings. Great experience and I will come back here for other items in the future. It is worth the visit if you are looking for high end jewelry.

This was a sentimental piece, and I needed a new band, battery, and cosmetics for a scratch in the glass (well documented on the intake form by Olivia - who was thorough, professional, and lovely.) Voicemails weren't returned. I got a hold of someone 2.5 weeks later who said it wouldn't be done until late August. In September, after receiving no call, I reached back out. Michelle could not find my file, and when she returned my call said it would be several months because the battery was on back order I reminded her that they had my watch since June...so magically when she called back 2 hours later, it was done. At the store she was very dismissive (I wanted to know how to care for the watch and what they had done to it) but she talked in circles, clearly not knowing a single thing about my specific item or repair and caring more about the other customers in the store. She also "forgot" to give me my credit card back, as she charged me in the back office, and when I asked to take the watch home in its plastic baggie she said "nope! This bag is ours." Really? For fine jewelry you've had for half a year? Once home I realized the scratch hadn't been buffed out at all and the battery doesn't work. $105+ and 6 months to do nothing but replace a band. I chose this place because of the reviews and wanted to support a small business, but they showed no gentleness or sense of community. These people don't care about you and their work sucks.

Although the manager (Kristin) was out of office, she still replied and had the staff expedite the order for a Christmas gift and pickup later that day. Upon arrival (pickup by another person), the color had incorrectly printed. The designer (Josh) emailed me to explain and see what we could do to resolve the issue. I personally stopped by near closing time. The designer took the extra time to work with me to get the correct color printed and explained again what we could do going forward. The staff is always so nice here, and I greatly appreciated the extra time to ensure everything printed up perfectly. They stayed late tonight on a Friday of the holiday weekend to make sure I was happy and had my gift in time! I will continue to go here for orders big and small. Thank you so much!

Scott doesn't respond to calls or texts. I filed a complaint with BBB and also taking them to court to recover my money. He said that he can deliver the sign and I can get it installed myself which I agreed to. I scheduled another company to do install but they couldn't install because the signs delivered by Scott was wrong size. I had to pay more money because of Scott's mistake. Stay away from this Company!!
