Miko's Guest House on Vashon island is a wonderful retreat complete with a private outdoor hot tub. The house is cozy with a wood burning stove, kitchen, and shower and the most relaxing bed. Karen, the owner, put together a welcome basket with wine, cheese, bread, coffee, and other local goodies. Of course, the best part was the hot tub. A day of soaking released a few months of stress. I'll definitely go back.

From the gift basket to the fluffy robes and slippers, we felt so comfortable we would have liked to enjoy a longer stay. The little house is filled with art from local artists, most of which is for sale. The downy bed is the most comfortable I've slept in. There was even a beautifully set table for two waiting for us, and a well-equipped kitchen. Miko's is a perfect spot for two people to settle in for a romantic, peaceful getaway. We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary there just a few days before Christmas, and look forward to returning.

(Not sure why this business has 2 Yelp pages, but I'm copying my review over.)…read more We reserved through a hotel we stayed at for a ride to and from Century Link for a football game. Realistically, it was roughly the same price round trip from our hotel in Bellevue as it'd have been to park in the stadium's parking garage...and we didn't have to fight Friday evening rush hour traffic into downtown Seattle. Win-Win. Erik picked us up at our hotel right on time, and was courteous and polite, even through my kids' 1000 questions. haha! He went above and beyond and dropped us off absolutely right at the gate (even closer than the drop off zone on stadium's map). We exchanged numbers, paid for the return trip, and agreed to meet Erik at King Station an hour after we estimated the game would end. No problem. After the game, we walked out to the pick up/drop off area at King Station, and there was no car to be found. We walked a full circle around the station to ensure we weren't just missing where he was parked. No car. My husband called the number on the business card we were given, and was told he was parked "in a parking lot between Jackson & Main" waiting for us, and that the roads were closed around King Station so he couldn't get down there. #1--Bull. Cars were picking up and dropping off all around King Station. #2...Jackson and Main are parallel to each other...WHERE between Jackson and Main is said parking lot? A cross street would have been great, especially since we aren't from Seattle and don't know where every parking lot is. After several texts and phone calls, and lots of walking up and down streets, we were able to locate the driver...who was a different driver, and in a different vehicle. No way we would have ever found him on our own. We literally found the parking lot and stood across the street looking for the white town car that dropped us off for about 5 minutes. There is absolutely no reason he couldn't pick us up where we had originally been told to meet, and there is absolutely no reason he couldn't have mentioned to my husband he was in a different vehicle (we were dropped off in a white town car...and picked up a black SUV). The pick up car smelled vaguely of marijuana, which, fine whatever....but the driver constantly revved his engine behind cars at stop lights and tailgated so closely his front end collision sensors beeped until we got on the freeway. He was friendly enough, but that was unnecessary and really unacceptable in such a setting--you want to tailgate on your own time, fine, but you are supposed to be a professional driver...act professional. Maybe from a hotel to the airport or an event if it is truly convenient, but I would never--NEVER--recommend to be picked up after an event or a flight by this service. Absolutely ridiculous. The *ONLY* reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 from me is because we had no problems whatsoever with Erik.
