Swan cleaners covers themselves by telling the customer they could not guarantee all spots would come out. I brought in a formal gown with a chiffon skirt with a wine spot on it. I picked it up two days later with the wine spot still there. They insisted on collecting full payment. All cleaning goes off premises. I would not trust them with anything valuable. I have given this location several chances (and probably several more than it deserved), given that it is so convenient to my home. I will never be going back again. Today, I went to pick up a couple of ties that I had dropped off to be cleaned (I am notoriously awful with spilling stuff on ties, so those tend to be the things I get dry cleaned the most). First of all, this is the first time I have consciously noted the cost for one tie to be cleaned-- $7.19! This is at least two times as much as the local dry cleaner I used when I lived with my parents. That was the first straw today. Next, the one of the ties that I was picking still had a stain on it. I pointed this out to the employee, in the frail hope that she might offer to look at the stain again or give me a discount. Nope. She simply reminded me that they give a warning that they might not be able to get all the stains out of ties. No apology, no offer of a discount, no empathy whatsoever that one of my favorite ties was (according to them) permanently stained. That's not just bad dry cleaning service, that's terrible customer service. This is not the first time that I have had an issue, either. In the past, they have completely missed huge stains, ruined the inner stitching on several ties, and been completely rude to me with any issues that I have had. All of these issues were (grudgingly, on their part) addressed, but this time, they chose to just send me on my way with a still-stained tie. To me, this makes no sense. I paid them to do a job. Whether by their own laziness or lack of skill or toughness of the stain, they could not do the job. If it were me, and I was paid to do a job that I could not complete, I would at the very least be apologetic and probably offer a discount. This was not the case with Swan Cleaners. Rest assured, I will never be returning to this business. And I will be sure to spread the word about how awful they are. read more

Hands down worth the worst service I've experienced in a while. So bad, that I didn't even leave my items there to be cleaned. The lady working in the business seemed so incredibly bothered by the questions I was asking her, about a 31 year old christening gown, that I didn't feel comfortable leaving it in her hands. When I called her out on her rude behavior, her demeanor instantly changed and she all of a sudden wanted to be helpful. I feel if I'm coming into your place of business as a customer, the least you can do is answer the questions I have in a polite manner. It is part of your job, after all. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I went out of town for the weekend and dropped off several suits on Thursday to have cleaned while I was gone. I was told they would be ready Saturday afternoon, but I would pick them up first thing Monday morning. The store opens at 7am on Monday morning, and I arrived at exactly that time to find the store closed. Ten minutes go by and still nothing. I was beginning to be concerned that I would miss an early morning meeting, so I call their corporate office to inform them no one was at the store. Of course, the corporate office doesn't open until 8am, so I decided to use their paging service to page someone who could help me. I enter my phone number, wait 15 minutes, and still nothing. At around 7:30am, the employee finally arrived to open the store. No one was apologetic about the inconvenience. I called the corporate office again and left a message to let them know what had happened. I have been using Swan heavily the last several months, and I asked for a call back from someone who could reassure me that I could continue using the location without worrying I would be made late for meetings. No one ever called me back, rather from the page or from my message at the corporate office. The company clearly has no interest in retaining loyal business. If you live in Hilliard, I would recommend K's Dry Cleaners (in shopping center diagonal from the shopping center where this Swan location is located). You'll get much better customer service, support a family-owned local business, and get excellent results. read more

I dropped off 2 bedspreads, 1 mattress cover, and 1 small coat. My total was roughly $70, and I paid the day I dropped off my items. When I went to pick them up about a week later, I was told I still owed $33, because the employee (same woman in the store both times - NOT friendly or welcoming) didn't charge me properly the first time (although she certainly never bothered to call me after making her error to inform me of this BEFORE my items were cleaned). I asked if I could at least receive a discount, since I was under the impression that everything had been covered. She gave me a $3 discount - not the best way to compensate for your mistake, Swan Cleaners! They have lost my business for good. read more

It is really expensive to drop clothes off here. However every time I do they are done well before the day they were promised and the girls are very sweet and easy to talk too. read more
