The oven does not reach the temperature it is set at and can vary by over 100° at times! There is no option to calibrate it. They sent a tech to replace a part and it didn't fix it. I was told, sorry, there are no other repairs possible. They've been giving me a runaround for months and I haven't been able to use the oven at all. It's brand new and under warranty but they won't replace it or take it back. Unbelievable. Stay away from CAFD and Frigidaire. Terrible customer service and the warranty is worthless.

Deans was unable to tell the difference between a repair and buildup. I've also contacted Travis Industries the maker of the stove. To let them know about the experience I had with Dean's stove and spa. No customer should have to go through predatory selling tactics that deans uses. People are Travis Industries picked up the phone and at least took the time to listen. They asked for an e-mail and pictures and all of those have been sent off. Time will tell to see if anything happens. Lopi I did get back to me. So that's good. I've been not been waiting for over a week for my refund. We couldnt seem to control the burn rate in the stove and were going through wood very fast. Turns out they never attached the chimney pipe to the back of the stove. When we called them on it they just claimed it wasn't their fault. The stove ended up cracking due to being overfired because we couldnt control the air intake. The answer is our hot tub, so I am glad to write this review from a position of expertise. On November 3, 2012, we bought a Vista Hot Tub from Scarritt Spas and I thought it would be like an exercise bicycle...get used couple of times the first months and then everyone would gradually lose interest. The opposite has been the truth. I'll bet this tub has been used 150 days a year, every year, since it was installed, at a utility cost of pennies per day. I never thought I would use it...but it is wonderful for achy joints, sore muscles and for just rehabilitating after a hard day's work or a long bike ride. The kids use it almost every night when they are home from college or visiting. There is nothing better than hot-tubbing, with a hat on, during a snow storm. The colder the better. In the summer, the Vista has a low-power setting so the heater does not waste energy, and the kids turn the spa down to a more refreshing 85 degrees. We have had to have it serviced exactly one time, and that was when the heat pump was acting up and Scarritt came out and replaced it for free; two days after we called. In terms of maintenance; I have replaced the filters one time and I had to order a new cover after I inadvertently went all the way through it while pushing snow off. The chemicals are inexpensive; they do not even run $100.00/year. I thought I was going to have to be a chemist to keep the tub balanced but one of the greatest free services Scarritt provides is the ability to bring in a water sample and they print out a sheet of specific instructions of what to add to the tub. I don't have to do that often, it's usually a teaspoon here or a tablespoon there, but it gives me great peace of mind knowing it is well balanced. I can't wait for the grandchildren to be old enough to enjoy it, I am sure it will still be every bit as dependable at that point.
