I called Swanson's on Friday and asked if there was any way he could come out on Monday. We had a stain in our carpet and overnight guests coming Tuesday night! He explained they were pretty booked up but he would try to rearrange his schedule and "earn my business." Within minutes, he called me back and we set a time! I certainly understood if he was unable to meet my emergency need, but was so happy that he made the effort! He came as scheduled and we couldn't have been more pleased! Don't believe all the 5 star reviews! I had a horrible experience with this carpet cleaner. First, I scheduled my cleaning weeks ahead of time for a day I was off work. The night before, I got a call saying he would be two hours later. The next day, the guy showed even later which broke up my whole day. When he finally arrive, he sat in the van for ten minutes with his head down. My gut told me something was off and I should cancel but I didn't. First, the process he used was NOT the 5-stage process as advertised. Second, it took more than two days to completely dry, not 12 hrs as advertised. He vacuumed first with an old beat up vacuum. He then proceeded to the hot water extraction. There was no machine that did "agitation" and the final stage of grooming was not done. Before he started, I pointed out two pet stains; one of which came out, the other looks the same. When he was done, I noticed an area in the bedroom, about 4x3 ft under the bed bench, that had not even been vacuumed. I asked him to come back in to clean that area. As he started to clean the area, he was dripping with sweat all over the carpet! It was warm that day but it was cool inside as my central AC was set to 70. I commented that his sweat was getting all over the clean carpet so he pulled a towel from his pocket, wiped his brow, and finished. Then I noticed a soiled area in the office under the desk. I asked him to redo that area as well. Unfortunately, by that time, I was anxious to get him out of my house and missed the second pet stain. I was so upset with the experience I contacted the owner, Jerry, who proceeded to argue that his employee has worked for him for years and always does a good job. After numerous texts and photos, he finally offered to come back himself in 3 days and reclean. I didn't not want to put everything back and have to remove it all again 3 days later so declined. He then said he would give me a complimentary cleaning in the future. I called him a few weeks later to tell him I would take him up on his offer but asked that he just come back to clean the remaining pet stain, not to clean an all three rooms. We scheduled it for a Saturday morning and 7:30 the night before, he canceled saying he had to go out of town unexpectedly and would contact me when he returned. I have not heard from him since. In addition to all of this, an item went missing from my bedroom. It was CBD tincture which I always keep next to my bed since I use it for sleep. NO ONE else was in my house that day and even the entire week. Avoid this company! I've used James Carpet cleaning in the past and they did an amazing job. read more

I used Swansen's last November and they did a perfect job. I spilled coffee in a couple of places, did my best to get it out of the carpet and had no luck. The technician was amazing. He cleaned every corner and spot. Over the last 6 months, my carpets have gotten filthy. Grandkids and their dog running in and out of the house and my carpets were disastrous. I was pretty sure that I would have to replace them soon. Swansen's came out again this morning and when I returned home I was shocked! My carpets looked new.
