This is a guy in a cluttered office, who offers no sound advice at all. His strategy is obvious- drag the case out as long as humanly possible and hope that the other party screws up somehow and defaults on their agreement. If you want to get your divorce finalized in a timely fashion, forget it. He goes out of his way to make the whole thing as painful and inconvenient as possible. Send him one simple form to review and send back to the other attorneys and it will take him 2 months to send it back. Yeah, something that would take about 1 minute to accomplish, will take months. After a while, I started getting more correspondence and information from my ex wife's attorneys! No joke! Labovitz would lie to me constantly and tell me that he had send her lawyers the paperwork they needed. Meanwhile I am seeing the copies of their emails to him constantly asking why he hasn't sent the items they need! Never calls or emails back. Ever. The only way to get him to write you back is after telling him that you are talking to the opposing attorneys, and then he will lose his shit because he knows you busted him in his lies and will then start being a total unprofessional. The only reason I am giving him a 2 star review, is because I feel that I should have known better. As soon as I met him in his tiny, cluttered office and heard his very reasonable fee, I should have suspected I was in for a world of misery, so some of it is my own fault. Please don't waste your time with this guy unless you have about 3 years minimum to wrap up your case.

I respectfully brought these concerns up in mediation but she embarrassed and humiliated me calling me unreasonable ( raising her voice), stomping back forth. She laughed at my attorney saying that " All the Judges drink" and "men are just angy", downplaying the problem. My attorney Ad** Bur**** unfortunately did nothing and never stood up for me. She was extremely unprofessional and an absolute slap in the face to a serious problem that one and a half years later affected my son Which proceeded out with a long term TRO. (By the way, dad went straight back to his old ways straight after mediation just As I had told them) After mediation, the ONE thing I fought so hard for That I finally won, was never entered in the MSA By Stephanie Foster. During my vexed state, me and my attorney missed this important piece when reviewing the order (I was very vexed bc I was literally facing 4 powerful people against me) . I spent thousands of dollars trying to get it fixed but nothing came out of it Stephanie Foster was extremely unprofessional and let her emotions get the best of her profession.

Wright. My role was as an accountant and being a supportive boyfriend. My expectation walking in the door was going to be a hard sell to use their services. I was wrong, Prior to the meeting, we had completed their questionnaire. In addition, we brought supporting documentation, credit reports, death certificates, anything that may be needed to support the conversation. In addition, and this was critical to the conversation, was the section of the questionnaire asking what we wanted to achieve out of the meeting. Mr. Wright was very pleasant. We had a pre-prepared list of questions. This was the point I was expecting slippery answers and a hard-sell. I was very surprised when I asked specific questions, I received very specific answers. In addition, Mr. Wright offered additional guidance. As the purpose of bankruptcy inquiry was due to the deceased husbands debts rather than the girlfriends debt, I expressed doubts as to whether filing for a bankruptcy was the proper course of action. Mr. Wright's response was he had doubts whether a bankruptcy filing was the best initial action. Rather, he recommended a specific course of action 1) Pay the HOA fees immediately 2) Ensure the house payments are current 3) Contact a probate attorney to sort through the estate issues 4) Review the results and if needed, then come back to him to file for bankruptcy if we felt bankruptcy action was needed. As I said, I expected no answers, no course of action and just a hard sell. I was pleased, I was shocked, I was floored. I mentioned that the advice we received was more than just an initial consultation and offered to pay for his services, twice. He declined the offer for payment, twice. His only request of us was to use him if we needed a bankruptcy attorney and to refer anyone to him that may need his services. I did him one better. I wrote this review. I would highly recommend Mr. Wright for your legal needs, no bullshit, just good, solid, actionable advice. That being said, if you contact Mr. Wright, go there with your house in order, your questions prepared and like with any professional, respect his time. I really felt he was on our side.
