I had an amazing experience with an Infrared Pod at Sweat Lounge in Westlake Village. Walking into this hidden Oasis was a pleasant surprise! Before I even walked into the Spa Entry, I was surrounded by a quiet village of businesses which surround a man made river and pond with ducks which was tranquil and uplifting. The waiting area carried the same vibe with some beautiful crystals and an overall relaxing spa-like environment. The owner of Sweat Lounge was professional, and made me feel at ease as soon as I came in. It was chilly outside so the moment I got into the infrared pod, I felt cozy, warm and relaxed. The chilled Himalaya Salt neck pillow felt divine, and was a wonderful extra touch! So was the chilled lavender washclorh she came in and placed on my forehead half way through the treatment! After the half way point is when I started to sweat the most. Once done, and looking in the mirror, I could see and feel a glow in my face, skin and eyes that I would compare to how I have felt after some of the best Reiki treatments I have ever received. Wow. Ayse told me about all of the benefits to Infrared Saunas, so I had to come and check it out. I had my 2nd back surgery last year and several nerve block injections after surgery, yet I was still in pain. I also had muscle twitching in my left leg. About 15 minutes into the treatment, I felt the muscle twitches stop. As I write this, it is about 5 hours after treatment and the muscle twitches are still gone. Crazy! I should have done this much sooner. Also, Ayse really gives A+ service. After 15 minutes, she comes in and puts a cold cloth across your forehead.
