T S L is among the very best retailers and staff I have encountered in a lifetime. That is @ 50 years of action sports immersion, on both sides of the counter. T S L has it all, all the gear, all seasons knowledgeable, ski shop tunes and repairs, and demonstrates passion and care about it all, especially dialed into consistent and engaging Customer Service. That's a WOW... and why I actually look forward, rather make a point to patronize the store when I visit South Lake Tahoe. Whenever looking at something a staff member usually will come up and ask if I have any questions or if I need assistance. Harley took us in…read moreand was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, and he took extra time to explain to us what to look for in choosing boots, which was super helpful because it was our first pair of boots! He was transparent about all the prices and accommodated our desired budget. He explained the fitting process in full detail making sure the boots were a comfortable fit and would work amazing on the slopes. He also answered all of our questions patiently. When one of us was deciding between two ski options he gave us an accurate side by side comparison so we could make an informed decision. He also gave us marked down prices to reflect the summer season. He sold our friend to come here next season to buy skis. He knew we were leaving town the same day so he got the ski bindings done in 15 minutes! The policy with the skis also includes a two year fitting warranty. Thank you Harley for being fire!!

We are very loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Here for the Wax and Watch event DIG. My first time and what an amazing event. Fundraising for so many nonprofits, see pictures. Also sponsored by Fifty Fifty Brewing Co; I had a few too many beers, too good of a time. I also found out about Fifty's Grand opening at RPM, which we also supported and attended the next day, see other Yelp Review. Non alcoholic drinks were also available. Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. Service - The team is so welcoming and friendly. This is the #1 reason we are loyal customers. Events available - See website. Again, my first but NOT last time that I will attend an event. You can either sell Patagonia your used clothes or trade them in so they can fix it. I believe that reusing is better than recycling. Furthermore, they give you credit ranging from $15 to $150.
