Great service and reasonable prices compared to Volvo. Loved the older Volvo loaner. Great to stand behind the product with 275,000 miles

Recently had work done on my car. I can truly recommend this shop. Honest guys with no up selling. NOT a rip-off like some dealerships.

Steve and Eric also care a great deal about my cars and that is why they will continue to get my business.

This shop has let me down on countless occasions, but I'll…read moreonly mention the most recent because I can't be bothered with the rest. I'm so easy going because I have 10 years under my belt of running service centers, so I gave them 2 week notice, 1 week notice, for bringing them my truck so they don't feel rushed. Boy did it get thrown back in my face. I don't even feel like getting into most of it. They will make you feel like an annoyance if you have an issue after they fixed something. Their mechanic caused 3 separate issues on my truck after the repair. After diagnosing it all and fixing it myself in the cold with a flashlight, I went in and spoke to the manager for 20 minutes and he ended up apologizing after arguing my case with him which was kind of nice. He said he couldn't offer any sort of refund because I fixed it myself? (I had another shop verify the issues and give me a report before I fixed them). Whatever. I'm easy going. I said call me with a quote for my water pump and help me out with the cost and i'll come back anyway. I don't hold grudges it is what it is. The manager shook my hand and said of course. That was almost 2 weeks ago. No call, no quote. I called last Friday and asked for someone to call me. They said they'll call me back, no call. They will avoid you at all costs and it is very depressing because this shop was so close to my house, and after changing careers I just wanted a shop that I could pay to do all the maintenance on my truck. Shame on you.

I've been going back and forth on if I should write this review. I hate to give negative feedback…read more I've talked with many people and they convincing me it's better to leave this comment to warn others of what happened, so they can be aware and make a decision on whether or not to come here. On May 12th I dropped my car off at Wensels because my head gasket was blown. I live in the apartment complex next to the them so I just walked home. They gave me a call and said it will at least take a week and a half and that is would be between $1500-$2000. I said that's fine. A few weeks go by and I don't hear an update. I called them and they said "We are working on it" More time has passed and I still don't know what's going on with my car. I walk over and they tell me my engine needs to be replaced but they said they will get a used one, and will keep me at the original price they quoted, however it would be on the higher end of my original price quote. I made it clear I only have $2000 saved and that if they can keep it in that price range to go ahead and fix it. Months go by and I leave multiple messages asking for updates. About 4 months from the time I dropped it off until now, I finally get a call back on my voicemail September 3rd telling me my car is done but it's $2732.86. That is about $800 more than they had quoted me. Reviewing the receipt there was charges for things I didn't ask for, like they took off my perfectly good gas cap and exchanged it with a lousy one. Why do that? They didn't even connect the cap to the car but yet this is a charge they charged me for. I let them know that I do not have that money and that I only have $2000 saved. Another week goes by and they called me on September 11 to tell me that I can get my car back at $2000 but there would be no warranty. I figured it wasn't worth fighting over and this has been a mess from the start so I just agreed. Since I was at work I had someone pick up my car up for me. The first thing I noticed when I saw it, it had new scrapes, dings and scratches on the car. Very upsetting. I took it to another car shop to have it checked out since I didn't have a warranty on it. They said the back of the rotors which are metal and the wheel hub (metal) were rubbing creating a horrible sound and was dangerous to drive like that. This is costing more money and more time in a shop. Also, my front headlight was out and windshield wiper fluid tube was cut in half. This is being fixed at another shop because of how careless Wensels was. This whole experience has been a nightmare and I had to cancel many things due to not having my car back.

Teresa told me they are "too busy to give estimates during the day but they'd get back in a day or two". Then called back and said the boss didn't want the job because Ford trucks have rust issues... Seriously, thats what she said. Obviously too busy to care. Go elsewhere, that's not a sign of good business. FOLLOW-UP 9/11/2018 This was the dialogue through Yelp I had with the owner: ------------------------- Kevin H. 8:56 PM Why the negative review ? I provided you with a honest answer. Been involved with those trucks many times just to be deep in over my head in rusted break lines and bleeder screws that wont open. That is ignorant to cold call a business then bash them because they are honest with you. I have never provided a service to you. ------------------------- Preston K. 8:58 PM I was honest about my experience with your business. It wasn't a good experience, and you didn't even look at the truck before assuming it was like some past vehicle you worked on... You blew me off. You're too busy. People have a right to know that. ------------------------- Kevin H. 9:13 PM You had no experience. Your cold calling about a 23 yr old truck. No one blew you off. You just did not like what you herd. How many shops did you call that never even called you back ? ------------------------- 9/10/2018, 9:27 PM Well, it happens to be my 17 year old daughter's truck, the exact model she always wanted. It happens to be in terrific shape because it was always garaged. And it just happens to need a new master cylinder, which is not a difficult job. And instead of treating me like a potentially valuable customer who would have brought all 6 of my vehicles to you for service and repairs, instead you treated me like an annoyance because you're too busy. A true professional would have been friendly, because it's the right way to treat people, and would have asked to look at it if you were concerned about rust... I drive past your shop every day and thought I'd give you a try. You were the first shop I called. I found someone to do the job on my third call. And they were friendly. They'll get a positive yelp review when they're done.

He said to call the guy who sold him the tired to get warranty because "he pay for it as new" So I did, I have messages from where he bought it stating he new it was a old used tire and even asked for a discount because of the missing chunk on tire tread. He paid 250$ or less for the USED tire and sold to me as new. I will give him credit for coming at night time and getting me out of the road. I understand emergency services cost money, The reason I am devastated is because he SCAMMED me by telling me its a brand new tire when he new it was used and just wanted to make hundreds In proffit by ripping me off.
