So i paid my deposit and stared waiting. After a month and a few days after the date i was told it would be ready i called and was told it was told then that it wasn't ready yet and it was going to be another month. I reluctantly kept my order because i didnt want to start this whole process with someone else at this point (even though kokopelie said they would have a trailer ready and delivered to my house in 4 weeks). After the next month passed called and they said it was going to be 2 more weeks. Disappointed again i kept waiting. After about 10 days they called and said its here. So the next day i drove from davis to richmond (3 hours) only to be show a trailer with only 1 axel. Idk how someone else didnt notice this before me but i cost me a tank of gas and 6 hours of driving. Then after another week of not having any idea whats going on they finally tell me that there is a trailer in Washington and that there is a truck going up there as we speak to pick it up and that it will be here next monday and i can pick it up tuesday. Im writing this on that tuesday right now. I just talked to them and they are now telling me that the manufacturer is making it right now and it will be here early next week. Idk if i even believe it. Ive missed 3 months of this el niño fishing so far waiting for this.

My boat has been in and out of a number of North Bay yards over the past 30 years, and Bay Marine is the one I trust. Each item in their work orders is either a fixed price or an accurate, reasonable estimate that they usually come in under. If additional work is needed they ask for a change order. Jaime keeps me in the loop as they work through issues. I can get at the boat 24/7 if necessary while it's in the yard. I used to get a bottle of wine along with my bill from KKMI, and it was the most expensive wine I ever got. Bay Marine has good communication, prices no higher than they have to be, and an always filled candy dish in the office. Good enough for me.

It's a very thin SS prop, and this couldn't have been easy. But these guys know they're doing! Due to the fall, one of the blades got bent. They fixed the blade, checked the pitch, balanced my prop and then polished it. And their prices are very reasonable. This place has new owners. I think they've been there ~1 year. A couple of young guys, with fantastic attitudes, and very customer friendly. They both have lots of experience working on props. So, I'd recommend just paying attention to reviews for the last year or so. I'd HIGHLY recommend them. I think you'll agree if you visit them with any prop issues...

I now have what I need and know who I can count on for future service/purchases.
