I haven't had much, if any, neck issues since then. And even if I get some flare ups, I feel confident to resolve that with the exercises he's given me, and it resolves within a week (usually less). I recently started having really bad lower back pain for about the last 1-2 months and I finally made an appt to see him today. Zach gave me such an informative rundown on the root issues and the assessment was spot-on to my bad [posture] habits. He assured me in the way I needed it and again gave me the proper tools and exercises to feel confident that I can tackle this. I left feeling much less stiffness and tension in my lower back bc he spent some time loosening it up and adjusting my back. Can't say enough wonderful things about the guy and his knowledge. I already recommended him to some of my gfs.

I spent time and money on traditional physical therapy and was prescribed painkillers, repeating the same cycle for almost 7 years with no real relief. Within just one month of working with Zach, my lower back pain was gone. He took the time to properly assess my condition and his adjustments gave me my life back, pain-free. If you have been struggling with long-term pain and feel stuck, do yourself a favor and see Zach. I only wish I had found him sooner.

The gals at the reception desk are nice, professional and help to make what has potential to be a stressful experience a pleasant one. Dr. Miyano's medical assistant, Christina is a real gem. She's on top of whatever questions you may have and has such a warm and relaxing personality. She's flexible with scheduling surgeries and will help you to decide which day and time would be ideal for getting set up. Dr. Miyano himself is great. He presented me with options and gave the likelihood of my ailment coming back. We had a medical student shadow for my appointment. I've had appointments where the doctor either lets the med. student take over entirely or ignore that they were even in the room making it awkward for everyone; Dr. Miyano doesn't do this at all. It was a comfortable consultation appointment. I felt guided with direction and empowered with the ability to choose what I wanted to do versus not being given options. I would highly recommend Dr. Miyano just based on one appointment and will write a follow up once I've gotten rid of my cysty wristy.

She did not give two Sheets for what she did to screw me over. I used to be fit, tiny, exercised all the time. Fast forward to - Post hip replacement. I'm Effed! I NEVER had the issues prior to hip replacement that I have now. NONE! Immediately after surgery I knew something was wrong. And I TOLD her so! I am a 5'4" 110 lb woman who has always been healthy and fit. Now? Now, I can barely run a mile or let's be serious, put on my socks or underwear without pain lifting that leg she operated on. Post-op, all she did is repeat ad nauseum that I need to "heal." I am 47!!! I am FIT and HEalthy! No health issues. She undermined me and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about. My life has never been the same. That was 2019. Fast forward to 2025. Still curse her name for dismissing me everytime I came back hoping for post-care and answers. She actually tried to sell me PRP which was going to cost me MORE money out of pocket that insurance won't cover and has an extremely low success rate. Never would have fixed the issue she caused which is called, IMPINGEMENT OF THE ILEOPSOAS TENDON! Several doctors later diagnosed me. Again, if you go to her and your surgery is a slam dunk, well her ego is satisfied and she is a "good surgeon." But, ask yourself this, what happens when surgery "isn't, a slam dunk?" What then? Medicine is a practice after all, which is why they call it that. What IF IT DOESN'T go as planned? IS SHE the surgeon you want? READ THE REVIEWS! ALL OF THEM! The reviews that are favorable are the ones who's surgeries went well. When they didn't (and let's be clear, not all will go perfectly), how did she and her team treat you? What solutions were offered? Was there ANY ACCOUNTABILITY? And I mean ANY? What about the kindness!? NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate my life now. And it's because of her. I could have gone to anyone!!!! She is full of herself and only wants a patient she can handle. She NEVER tried to call me or check back on Anything! NOTHING! There are so many ortho surgeons out there folks. Do ALL of your vetting and think CAREFULLY!

But as you see, I have Dr. Schwartz on that list to whomever asks me about a great shoulder-guy. (I work in the electrical industry; we get a lot of shoulder and knee problems.) Anyway, I was warned by my coworkers who've gone through similar shoulder surgeries about all the post-surgery problems, mainly pain and recovery I will encounter. Not true after my surgery with Dr. Schwartz. Yes, your mileage may vary but the worst part for me was having to wear a sling. My pain was minimal and recovery was very quick. (I had the full-meal deal; rotator cuff and bicep reattachment and I guess my collarbone had to be shaved.). Dr. Schwartz was very patient and actually listened to my concerns both pre and post-op. He explained everything from my injuries, my upcoming surgery and what to expect afterwards. He's pretty proud of his work, even showing me a video of my surgery. And his staff was awesome! I liked his work so much, I had my other shoulder repaired three months after my first.. this shoulder's recovering fine as well. One thing to note: getting something surgically repaired is not like taking your car to the mechanic. You can't expect to just go take boxing lessons after you leave the shop. It takes time and a lot of physical therapy to properly heal, as Dr. Schwartz told me on my very first visit. Follow your post-op instructions handed to you and actually DO your physical therapy routines and you'll be fine. So if you're looking for a really great shoulder-surgeon, "I gotta guy...."

He did find and fix a couple things that were wrong, and said that if I followed my PT my shoulder would be as good as new. Almost 6 months after surgery and following PT strictly, my shoulder is in more pain than before the surgery with no end in sight. Dr. Schwartz ordered another MRI and I feel like I'm right back where I started, having wasted 6 months and a lot of money. I was terrified of having surgery by Dr. Schwartz assured me that it would end up solving my problem. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

I was referred to him by one of his associates, another doctor in the practice who had done my knee surgery. I have had a very unusual occurance in my right hand in the past few weeks. My ring finger is quivering/shaking all the time and it inadvertently completely closes (bends) without me having control of it. It has happened four or five times and I just watch it. Also, I am losing control of my grip on the right hand, feeling less strength in the hand. Lastly, there is a slightly swollen area in my right wrist that is not in my left wrist. Dr. Pang walked in and I told him all of this while holding out my hand to him. His immediate remark was "I have no idea what that is". Full stop. I actually burst out laughing and told him I'd never heard a doctor say that. He said "I'm just being honest". He did not touch me or my hand and repeated that he didn't know what it was and if it got worse to come back and with that he was GONE. He was in the room less than 90 seconds. I have nothing more to say on the matter. I think that says it all. Who is this guy?
