This place is fantastic!!! Love the people. They were all amazing. The food was wonderful and they serve breakfast and brunch all day long. We were there for late lunch early dinner and all was great. I wished had been earlier as the breakfast & brunch menu looked incredible! If you are ever in Champaign, IL I would highly recommend you try it out. We were just passing through and happened upon it. I am so very happy we did!!!

Stopped here for lunch around 2 on a Saturday and were seated promptly. The restaurant was pretty empty and the table we were seated at wasn't cleaned up when we were seated. The menu is huge and a plus for the diner is being able to order breakfast all day. The portions are enormous but unfortunately the quantity is what you are paying for but the food is lacking in quality. I ordered the Jambalaya omelette which came with two extra large pancakes. The omelette stated it came with jambalaya sauce but didn't state that the sauce contained all the extra ingredients on the top of it. The sauce wasn't that great and the chicken was rubbery. The pancakes we had were overdone and there wasn't butter for the pancakes but margarine instead. I gave this a two for the prompt seating and good waiter but the food will keep us from returning.

We came here over the weekend to give this new restaurant a look. It's been in a holding pattern for what seemed like a year before it finally opened recently. First the positives. The staff was really great and accommodating. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. The place is very large and despite being extremely busy they were able to seat us quickly. The menu was enormous which can be a good thing or bad thing but you'll definitely find something there to try. And the portion sizes were huge. On to the negatives. I ordered the gypsy steak skillet with a side of pancakes. The skillet was ok. I felt the steak needed a bit more seasoning as I mostly just tasted the cheese. The pancakes on the other hand were subpar. The fact that I couldn't easily cut it with a fork tells you what you need to know. We also ordered the Irish Benedict, sweet basil Benedict and some waffles. The eggs Benedict were both better but not anything amazing or memorable. The waffles were better than the pancakes but in both instances I could make something better at home. We also ordered some banana bread which was huge. This tasted fine as well but like everything else the best I can say is that it was just okay. Overall the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was nice but the food was just okay and there was nothing that stood out. We may try this again after a few months to see if things have improved but for now it is just mediocre.

I would first like to state that the food was absolutely exceptional. The portion sizes are huge, so I have lunch for tomorrow. I went tonight with 4 other family members and we were all pleased not only with the food but with the extremely wonderful service we received from our waitress Quita. I ordered the Meatloaf Sundae and it was rediculously tasty. It came with a soup as well for only $18.00. This has to be one of Champaign-Urbana's best kept secrets, but not for long if I have anything to do with it! Thanks guys for a wonderful dining experience with my out of town family. They want to come back again this Friday so we can try the fish! See you soon! Thanks again Quita for your phenomenal service!!!

Im so surprise this restaurant has 3 stars. I actually enjoyed my food. I ordered the country fried steak with eggs and hash brown, it was seasoned very well. My server was nice and made sure he kept checking on me to make sure I was ok. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and they played good music. They also have a variety of food which makes me want to come back to check out the lunch and dinner. So with that being said, I will be back.

The NY was a half sandwich, which we weren't told. Flavors were mute & dull, very lacking. Tomato "bisque" should not be called that, it was offensively acidic/bitter. I honestly can't imagine how it went wrong in so many ways. The BAS upset me the most by far. It was an unseasoned, unloved, meat slab spud. No flavor, tough meat and no condiments to be found. I couldn't even tuck in because of the effort it took to cut into pieces. Broccoli soup was subpar, not seasoned and lacking but the best thing I ate in this meal. Why are the cookies sooooooo thin? But the taste was expected. Lastly the pie.... if it weren't for the absolutely soaked crust it would've been great. The filing was smooth and yummy but the crust was inedible. **Now normally I don't go so deep on a review but I was really caught off guard.

We decided, sounds great, so here we are. Coming in, VERY CLEAN, nicely decorated. Love the atmosphere. So we got the fried brussels sprout appetizer with of course, the Gorgonzola crumbles on the side because Wifey doesn't do those! We also got a Mediterranean salad, and a Falafel Burger. Loved our choices! I'll post pictures, and, you know the drill, Wifey will give her opinions! Our server didn't say what his name was, but, a very friendly gentleman. Found out his name is Michael. Quite good brussel sprouts. I'm not usually a big fan. Usually they are just OK. Wifey wanted them so I went along. Surprisingly delicious! The right amount of breading, crisped nicely. Wifey is putting the chipotle aioli on the bun for the Falafel Burger. The pasta salad is great. It's going home for dinner. Take out is a violation of the clause but not this time! The burger was just the perfect taste! Hard to describe. A TINY BIT tangy because of the sauce and just tender veggies! Scrumptious. Wifey's turn: This place is is adorable, happily decorated, and has a warm and classy feel. Hubs mentioned the foods so I will not repeat in depth. The fried Brussels were delightful! I am not a Gorgonzola fan so we made that a side car and I let hubs have the dipping sauce and got me some lemon aioli. I highly recommend this choice! So good. Both the falafel sandwich and the Mediterranean salad were perfectly on point with their Mediterranean taste, vibe and flair. I had to take most of my half of the falafel sammie home for dinner and most of my salad as well. Oh darn! I get to spread the goodness out! I was very pleased with our first visit here. We will be sure to not make it our last. I am happily sated. Yum! This place gets a straight up five stars from me.

Casual warm bowls for clean living. This lunch place has you covered when you want something hearty…read morebut not heavy. The bowls use simple ingredients for a mild but hearty meal. I ordered a power bowl, with the dressing on the side and added tofu. It was effectively a large bowl of black rice -- a meal unto itself -- topped with slightly chilled vegetables. The guacamole and slaw that came on it were crisp, and they mixed into the rice to give it a texture both smooth and crunchy. On the other hand the sweet potatoes, lentils, and tofu were cool and mushy, like they had been cooked the day before and just come out of the fridge. They warmed party in the rice. The flavors were mild, except for the dressing. I'm glad to have ordered it on the side because it overwhelmed everything else with vinegar. The ingredients generally seemed to be a couple days old. The green onions were dried out though firm, and the sourdough it came with was a bit stale. In the future, I will probably stick with the small bowl, which cuts down on the rice.

Their staff is super friendly and diverse (a sign at the entrance touts the multilingual abilities of the staff). They seem to have everything including more niche ingredients and even live seafood! I also appreciate that they freshly butcher meat to sell unlike other stores like Amko that freeze it all. There's also a home goods section with cute bowls, makeup, and other stuff. This is all relatively close to campus too and worth the trip. It's also right next to Golden Harbor, which is a plus. I found out about their membership card.
