The Everything Bagel, toasted and lathered with Bacon Chive Cream Cheese was absolutely delicious, and it will take all of my willpower not to make this my sole breakfast diet since it was SO good! A wonderfully fluffy bagel, toasted perfectly, with manifold flavors garnishing its top, and richly luscious cream cheese, with real bacon (not bits or soy) spread throughout. It was truly astounding! And for accent and delight: a large mocha, richly dark and right on the doorstep of sweetness, perfectly punctuated my breakfast today. I must promise myself not to indulge unto addiction hereafter, but absolutely must and will visit again! Cheerful greeting and friendly service awaits all who enter, to the fulfillment of your tummy's true delight!

I waited a bit in line because the customer in front of me was taking a while with a flying solo barista. Another barista noticed, and stepped in on the second register. Order was placed and everything came out within minutes. This turnaround is what I expect for a very uninvolved order. Get me out the door!!! They added a few sitting tables in addition to the awkwardly installed fixed bar stools around the perimeter bar. I wish they'd get rid of those. They're proportioned for people with the anatomy akin to NBA basketball players. As I was heading out, the parking lot was totally full and another car was circling about for a spot. The bagels themselves were fine, and not offensive by any means. I'd eat them again. I don't think they're out of this local Western Philly burbs' world special though... My taste buds didn't see the fuss and expectations set for this place by the business, and if this is how NYC bagels taste, I'd go to NYC now. Get it? Tasted like more like a different kind of NYS (state)...Wegmans bagels on their best days. Never the less, it's GOOD to have a bakery that focuses on bagels in PXV's rotation, versus having to head to Chesterbrook or the Main Line for a bagel. Hope they'll continue to improve their craft within the confines of local traditions and make locals see what they're missing without a NY-style bagelry around. With current state right now...not missing much. Edit: Appreciate the business's response and openness to continuous improvement. At this juncture, there wasn't anything WRONG (bagel burnt, not enough shmear, bagel odd, etc) with the bagels I recently purchased, but there isn't anything SPECIAL worth all of the commotion, either. The special is what the business was promising and setting expectations for. Up to the biz to bring their expertise here as table stakes operational issues are ironed out. Not sure what to ask for or provide feedback on. If shooting to bring NY style bagels, go to industry events or bagelries that offer teaching extensions to cross train/knowledge share. Look for mentorship.

When we went, most of their coffee specials were sold out. They're also dairy free but why don't they advertise that? We had people after us also ask for dairy milk too. We ordered one of their spring lattes and a cortado and the barista asked "hot or iced" for the cortado. I don't think I've ever had an iced cortado in my life. When i got my regular cortado (hot), it was in a 10-12 oz cup (look at my picture of the cortado cup vs my medium latte) and don't get me wrong.. i do love that because it's huge but .. as a coffee roaster... y'all don't do the typical cortado size? It was weird to me. Like they just opened a coffee roaster/coffee shop but don't really know the coffee basics? The espresso shot pulled was also pretty sour. I don't think I've ever had a bad shot with a coffee roaster shop but this one is an exception i guess. Spring latte was also not good. Syrup was nonexistent in flavor and latte was watery. If you were to come here & want a hot latte, just order a hot cortado. You'd get more bang for your buck.

I started out with a deviled egg appetizer with bacon which was good, could have maybe used a little more flavor. Got the apple pie which came with a side of ice cream. The ice cream was delicious and so was the pie (which had Granny Smith apples inside). It came with a caramel drizzle which actually put it over the top.
