This business started out by selling old and used cartridges for almost every (major) gaming console ever made. The owner has an enormous, almost unbelievable, selection of games you played, games you wish you had played, and some games that you've probably never heard of. What a trip down memory lane. Yeah, the owner had a nice little business selling game an outstanding variety of game console cartridges...and then he got bit by the pinball bug. So, in his store, he has 24 pinball machines, three cabaret style machines (Galaga, Centipede, Ms.Pac Man), two multigame machines (an iCade 60 gamer, and another that features about 100? vertical scrolling Japanese "maniac shooters..." if those are your thing. There's a Crazy Taxi game, too). The pins range in price from 12.5 cents per play (two credits for a quarter, arithmetic wiz), to a buck per play. Here's the key...every game that I played was in good or excellent condition! What an cool variety of games, he has. Newest game? Jurassic Park (2019) by Stern. Flagship game? Bowling, arcade, VR, restaurant, bumper cars and of course, a bar all under one roof, made for a great night with some new friends. The selection of arcade games was smaller than I'd expected but I found a few to play and ended up winning big on the ticket claws. The redemption counter had lots of fun items at reasonable ticket levels too, so I got a bunch of great toys to bring back to my kiddos. The bar was nicely stocked with a decent selection of beer and spirits. I settled on some Old No. 7 neat which did the trick. They also have nice party rooms here and our event had a buffet featuring a selection of their pizzas, a nacho bar, and what seemed to be hand breaded Midwest chicken chunks! Everything was tasty and the staff kept it well stocked too! I wish I hadn't spent so much time hanging in the bar (ok no I don't) but I missed out on experiencing everything else this place had to offer except the food and the arcade games. Lazer X is so fun. It has the biggest laser tag arena I've ever seen or played in. It's seriously…read morehuge, with lots of smoke machine fog, laser lights, hidey holes, bridges, ramps, games to play while playing the laser tag game, and lots of other fun stuff. Even the area where you suit up with your laser gun and watch a movie about the rules of the game is cool. I played two games back to back, and both games had at least 20 to 30 people. The arena is so huge that even that number of people seemed like a small amount. Beyond laser tag, there's also an arcade with lots of video games, skee ball, dance games and other things to do. It's very dark inside Lazer X, but your eyes quickly adjust. When it comes time to leave Lazer X, though, you're in for a rude awakening: It's hella bright outside! Agh! But assaulted pupils are a small price to pay for a good time here.

The games: For just the games? I'd give MSDBaA 3 to 4 stars. The selection is pretty standard stuff. They're missing some of the 80s blockbusters, but they have many of them. They also have several sleeper hits and a few games that never really made it over the top. All arcade games are set on free play all of the time! The 7 pinball machines are on set on free play on Thursday and Sunday, but are normally 1 dollar per play (standard for "new" games these days). This, obviously, is a great deal (on Sunday and Thursday). Most of the games are in pretty good shape, but none are in perfect condition. In the past, I've said that I'd rather pay to play a game that is in top condition, than play a free game with sloppy joysticks or buttons. This still holds true. Again, overall, the games ain't bad. The bar: The quality of the drinks and the beer selection makes up for the non-stellar game collection. The service: Excellent service from Andrew and Rachel. Both were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The Atmosphere: The atmosphere is fun and comfortable. Also, it's attached to a pretty good, albeit a little expensive, sandwich shop. Although I'd love to see a little more attention given the retro arcade games, in general this place is great; it's nice to have MSDBaA in Downtown Findlay. Toledo should take a lesson or two.
