Their seeds were a huge disappointment. 1st half of them came with no planting instructions, nor growth time, etc. 2nd some sprouted, many did not! All were started indoors under grow lights, with the exception of the carrots which were planted after the last freeze. Not one carrot came up, zip, nodda! For what they charged for their seeds I had expected far better. I feel like I threw my money out the window with this company & their seeds. I didn't receive half the plants I ordered and the ones I did receive were tiny and shorter than a blade of grass. I am not exaggerating. Do not order from them. Wish I'd heeded other reviews. Sweet Corn has lied to me over and over. They lied to me prior to placing my order assuring me they could ship early. When I called after 2 wks, they said they "misspoke" and promised it'd go out that week. Nothing. I'd call and they'd lie each time. Here I am almost 3 months later with no plants!! I ordered my plants THREE weeks ago and I still have no plants. I contacted them after one week asking for my order and I was told it would be shipped out that week. Still waiting!! The past few days I have tried calling numerous times and no one answers and the voice mail is full so I cannot leave a message. I did leave a call back number that was suppose to be paged to Bryan Jones. I also sent an email, still no reply. Luckily, I paid through PayPal so I'm making a claim through them to get my $150 back. Only after PayPal made their claim did I get a call back. I was told the plants were going out today, sorry Bryan it's too late. I needed those plants two weeks ago!!! I do not recommend purchasing plants through Sweet Corn Organic. I ordered from Sweet Corn for the first time last week. The plants came, some ok. some not ok. dried leaves and roots on some. I followed the instructions that came with the plants. I am not a novice, but by the next day I had lost a third of my order. Tried to email, but they did not respond. Called after that but still they did not reply to my voice message. Do NOT purchase from this company. I ordered in early April. When over a month passed without my order coming I emailed to cancel and my order was shipped the next day. When it arrived it really was only a partial order. Several of the plants I paid for were not included. What did arrive were TINY - 1-2 in - weak, broken plants. It was already late for me to be starting my vegetable garden, but I tried to put them in. They were so small and weak that most of them quickly died. I have written several times asking for a refund since I did not receive anything that I expected and cannot get a response! Total rip off! read more

So... I was excited to find a place in our climate zone (5) at our elevation that does organic AND has starts. So I ordered starts in time to plant in the garden once the weather turned nice... It's been two weeks. TWO WEEKS that these starts are not here, and it's going to be at least another week before they ship. WTH? Gardening is all about timing in our zone, and they know this. No explanation, and no real rush from their end. HUGELY disappointed. I could have found local starts but thought Sweet Corn's offerings looked good. I will support other businesses next time. AND it means we won't have garden-fresh produce because the starts aren't here to get growing. Really, really disappointed. read more

They never delivered the plants we ordered! I called and each time Bryan promised the plants would go out next week. I even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Sweet Corn just ignored them! How is it legal that they can take my money and not give me what I ordered? I wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered seedling. I am very disappointed in the packaging, quality and condition of the plants.They had them packed in a small box, in two blocks, each having 8 cells taped together with each block glued to opposite sides of the box. During the less than 47 hours it took from the time the label was created to the delivery time, one block became unglued and was smooched into the other block's plants, which would explain some of the damage. One of the two cantaloupe seedlings' head was totally missing, not even in the box, which renders it unusable.. I ordered two "buy one get one free" zucchini plants but received two instead of four. One of them has the stem broken from getting crushed in the box. I ordered one "buy one get one free" savoy cabbage, but instead received what I believe are two lanky rosemary seedlings. In general these plants are not in good condition, tiny seedlings, a few plants having several dried out or yellowed limp leaves. This would not happen in the less than 48 hours of travel, so they must have been packed this way. I have sent them two emails so far, with no response. I will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. I can't figure out how to attach photos or I would. The free shipping and "buy one get one free" option is not worth the tiny seedlings, dead or yellowed leaves. I strongly recommend to not buy from them. read more

I finally received my order and I have never seen such small plants. Some of my tomato plants were less than an inch. The rest less than 2 inches.All the plants were dried out and it is very difficult to refresh them because they were wrapped in plastic very tightly. When I unwrapped one to water it the dirt just feel away and left me with a bare root. Just be aware they are not 5-6 inch plants or planted in a peat pot as the picture shows on their website. I am sure at least half my order no matter what I do will not survive. (and I am not a rookie at this) Tried to contact them twice and have had no response. So customer service is as bad as the plants. This place is not cheap so I am out a considerable amount of money. read more
