I do not normally give a 5 star rating to anywhere because I normally feel like there is room for some kind of improvement. This is not the case with my experience with this Florest. Ordering flowers for a funeral is never an enjoyable experience, especially when the person your honoring was so instrumental in your life. My original call to order flowers for my aunts funeral was a very calming and informative experience. I was on edge as we as a nation are/were dealing with the COVID-19 virus and being on the east coast everything is closed. The person who took my order was extremely nice and reassuring that the flowers were available and would definitely make it to the funeral on time. Then out of nowhere I received the best text message a day later. It was a photo of the flowers that they had arranged for my aunt. I trusted that they would do a good job but I never expected to see them. I also never expected them to go above and beyond my original order request! During some horribly challenging times for my family came the occasion of my Moms birthday. I placed the order online, received a phone call saying she did not have the exact flowers I requested. I left it to her to use her own judgement and they were beautifully done! Unfortunately my overall experience was very poor. I do not enjoy writing bad reviews (my first one to be exact) but feel that I should share to hopefully spare others the stress and heartache. I have spoken with the owner throughout my whole planning process and she is aware of the concerns I had. The Morning Rose came recommended by wedding coordinator and so I used the Morning Rose for my wedding. In general very unorganized, they tried to charge me for the most expensive flowers, despite us requesting otherwise, the day of the wedding was unorganized and the flowers were definitely not well prepared. For example-My fathers boutonniere fell off the stem right before we walked down the aisle because the flower used was too heavy, thus we had to adjust and pin it on separately (looked very tacky). If one is paying a lot of money to have well prepared flowers, the flowers should at least last until the ceremony. I had to meet with multiple employees including the owner multiple times to try to even get an estimate for the cost. The first estimate was double the price of the final estimate because they had chosen the most expensive flowers. The final estimate was sent about 20 days before my wedding, which we had met with the Morning Rose about 3-4 months prior and multiple times in between. It seemed they would simply forget or were too busy to send us a final estimate. It seemed as though they were behind on everything and since everything was last minute they left us with no other choice than to use them. To be honest they were the only hang up throughout my whole wedding planning process that made things stressful and definitely not worth the money. Sadly the flowers the day of the wedding weren't even worth the expense, stress and frustration, but at least they did deliver ALL the flowers! read more

Living 500 miles away, I had a friend personally go order some flowers for my mom. I waited a bit too long as it was Thursday. I did not want to chance the online ordering. So my friend went into The Morning Rose and made all the arrangements. We were assured the flowers would be delivered Saturday. Well.........Saturday came and went, Sunday (Mother's Day) as well - no flowers! So my friends returned on Monday, inquired about the delivery and to our surprise the flowers were indeed delivered Saturday around noon time. They even produced a signed receipt. My Mom lives in an Assisted Living Facility and an investigation is going on now as it appears that the recipient "kept" the flowers and never took them to Mom. Here is why 5 stars are being awarded - The Morning Rose stepped up (no charge) and recreated the flower arrangement and my friend personally delivered them on Monday! Needless to say Mom is happy and we have no need to look elsewhere for floral arrangements. Thank you. read more
