But it receives 4/5 stars is that they don't have any lactose-free ice cream for people who are lactose intolerance. It's in a great location in the Stanley market and seems to attract a lot of people. It's very kid friendly including a mini play Center. The shop is a standard ice cream shop, with a mid century modern touch. Clean colors and easy to read Menu. Their flavors are pretty standard but if you look carefully you will find some creative twists that make this place worth trying out. Tried a few different ones but the ones that stood out to me the most were the Big Lebowski and ode to the "dudes" favorite drink that he constantly has throughout the movie. Sweet creamy white Russian flavor with a slight taste of vodka permeating under tones of the ice cream from start to finish. The peeps reminiscent of everyone's favorite Easter marshmallow treat, a soft marshmallow vanilla like flavor, smooth and great for putting toppings on. My favorite was the Honey maple nut. Opens with a neutral creamy flavor and then a strong sweet honey flavor which is balanced by crunchy grape nuts adding texture and rounding off the flavor. The basic flavor i tried was the strawberry with some sprinkles on top, really nice natural strawberry flavor not to sweet with the perfect amount of creaminess to it. I must also add that they have salty pretzel cones which are great for adding that salty savory to sweet contrast that makes their ice cream even better. read more

I tried this place tonight and I was glad I did. I tried the Girl Scout thin mint cookie ice cream with hot fudge. It was delicious! The young man at the counter was friendly and after asking a question about this ice cream, he offered me a sample. Great place, friendly people. read more

While I've had Sweet Cow ice cream plenty of times from their food truck this is the first time I make it to one of their stores. I really love the quality of Sweet Cow's ice cream so it's nice to know I can visit whenever I want to and not just hope the food truck will be around for a specific event. Unlike a food truck, the store has a wide selection of flavors to choose from. Another plus is that unlike the other popular ice cream joints in Denver, like Little Man and Sweet Action, Sweet Cow has plenty of typical flavors to choose from instead of mostly carrying unique flavor combinations. One of my faves is the Oatmeal Cookie ice cream but I also like to indulge on classics such as chocolate chip cookie dough or just plain chocolate. The store is spacious and the staff was super nice. Definitely planning on returning and trying more flavors. read more

Was blown away by this place. Had a really long line but got through it pretty quickly. Had the banana chocolate chip and oatmeal cookie and could not believe how delicious both flavors were. Will be a hot spot over the summer for sure. read more

This place has great, quality, creamy ice cream and the staff are so friendly. My daughter loves the strawberry flavor and their Dutch chocolate tastes very good. Also, when my daughter accidentally left her stuffed fox here the staff were so sweet to notice and tuck it away behind the counter until we showed up again. They also have rubber cows that children can bounce around on providing entertainment for all. Stapleton lucked out having Sweet Cow be our neighborhood ice cream shop! read more

This place has really yummy ice cream. It is my third time there, and each time I've had a different flavor, all just as good as the previous one. The first time I had a cone with a scoop, the second time I had a malted, and this time I had their mini scoop. The most recent flavor was peanut butter cup and it was absolutely delicious. The service is good and quick and you can sit inside or outside. They have a freezer case with to go items, and I have my eye on an ice cream cake for my next special occasion. I love ice cream and although Sweet Action and Nugs are still my favs, it is really nice to have this place in the neighborhood. read more

Good ice cream I guess but for some reason a girl named Alysa (not sure about spelling) was the rudest person to me on the phone. To be honest I didn't even think she was talking to me during the conversation because of how mean and angry she was towards me. I then asked for her manager because I was so confused and she informed me that she was the manager. I normally loved ice cream and everything about it, including the experience. I will certainly never give them any of my hard earned money again. This experience was so out of the ordinary and weird that I truly thought that a friend was playing a prank on me. The ice cream is great. Shakes and Malts not so much. The manager did refund us. It's probably a training issue, but I can't afford to waste calories. I splurge occasionally. Went here tonight with my nieces. Great customer service, everyone was very friendly. Menu is on the wall, very easy to read, also had ice cream sandwiches pre made in the freezer. Great little ice cream shop located on the backside of a building that houses multiple businesses and restaurants. The root beer float was great and the cookie dough ice cream had lots of flavor!
