And brows have been part of the regimen since I started this Spring! Not sure how I lived before brow lamination?? lol! Tried the new scalp massage a couple times called Dry Head Spa. Chizu did the treatment for me. (Chizu also has yoga classes that are great as well if you wanted to try a private class!) I'm not a message person, but this was indeed relaxing and helped with tension I had from stress from work and not sleeping well. If you've done those Chinese messages before where the therapist massages your body on a chair while you're fully clothed, then this is similar but for your scalp. You get a questionnaire where they ask you what type of pressure you're ok with. I chose medium. There's no oils or creams used and your hair stays clean through the process. We started off with Chizu brushing my hair to avoid tangles. The scalp message was so nice that I fell asleep a couple of times. So if I'm not as detailed, this is why. Haha! But I remember some pressure points that were compressed that felt great! All in all it took about 45-50 mins. Really great way to end things after staring at a computer screen all day. Highly recommend to add this to the ever growing self care regimen!

She even offered a blanket and asked for music request, which set such a nice tone. After filling out the forms, Emi took the time to really talk through my goals. I didn't have many reference photos, but she walked me through her wide selection of colors and explained the differences in shapes and lip design. Once she mapped out the outline, I looked in the mirror and was honestly beyond thrilled--it was even better than what I had imagined. After applying the numbing cream, Emi carefully explained aftercare and what to expect during healing. The actual session was nearly painless (maybe a 1 on a scale of 10), and she worked with such precision and attention to detail. About an hour and a half later, my lips were complete--and I was blown away by the results. Experience was most unpleasant and painful. The lady used a thread that was a lot finer and sharper causing to leave marks and minimal blood.. The threading was so bad that you can see halve of the hairs stuck, they look like open pores now. In addition, I asked for a clean only for the eyebrow, yet she took more, shortened them and removed too much from the top. She left so many hairs for my li threading that I have to now pluck. Missed so many spots and failed to communicate, did what ever she wanted. The same quick way I was referred here, it is the same quick way that I will not return or recommend. Not cool!
