Brigitte is a true artist!!! I cannot get over how amazing my brows look after the whole microblading process! I was part of the whole overplucking generation and I did a lot of research on Yelp and Instagram for microblading. What I found was that most instagram photos don't match Yelp and vice versa. Then I found Brigitte and noticed that her photos were the most natural for people like me that didn't have a lot of eyebrow hair left. Well this is a long overdue review! I got my eyebrows microbladed by Brigitte in April of 2019. I couldn't be happier with my brows and it is now January of 2020! What I love about Brigette is she really listens to how you would like your brows to look and is also very conservative on the first appointment. This lets you get used to how your brows look and decide if you want them tweaked at all on the second appointment. I spend almost no time on my brows and actually could go without any brow products whatsoever. I do love makeup, so I typically will add a little brow gel, but I definitely do not use need to use anything. I think the best is they look natural and people do not have any idea that I've had my eyebrows microbladed...when I tell them they can't believe it. I couldn't be happier with choosing Brigitte! Let me start off by saying that I spent a great deal of time researching micro blading, going through reviews of different artists, and looking at their work online. Brigitte had great reviews and her work seemed to stand apart in a very good way. It is incredibly natural looking. As a light skinned blonde, I was very worried about finding someone who could keep them from being too dark or too dramatic. Her work shows her incredible attention to detail and ability to make the eyebrows look very natural. When I met with Brigitte for my consultation and told her how impressed I was with how natural the brows she does look compared to some of the other artists that I have seen, she explained that she uses a little bit of a different technique than some artists that she finds to look more natural. When she was first starting out, she had researched and found an artist who had very natural looking work that she loved and decided to go to Dallas and train with them in this special technique. Brigitte was professional and explained the whole process before we started. She spent a lot of time drawing the eyebrows and making sure they were shaped exactly how I wanted. She was a perfectionist, which is definitely a good thing with micro blading. When the actual micro blading started, she numbed my eyebrows first and I barely felt any pain at all during the micro blading process. She gave me thorough instructions and an aftercare kit. I'm still loving my brows and can't wait to get the retouch after they finish healing. I would highly recommend Brigitte, and already have to several friends. At first, I was like hmm I wonder how this is going to turn out since I've seen her work on IG. BUT, after getting my lashes done, I AM a believer hahaha! She is located in the mall-like structure on 16th and PCH. Once you make a left onto 16th then you make a right into the parking structure. She is located in Salon Republic. Ok so I did it for the first time in April and I don't know why I didn't know about her sooner haha. She uses synthetic lashes and her work is fantastic. All of my coworkers said that my lashes looked very natural. I love love love my lashes. She also does waxing and extensions (for brows and lashes), but not threading. My experience with Brig is two years strong now. The hair on my brows is very straight, dark, they are full of gaps and the hair grows straight down. Not at all ideal for shaping and I have been to multiple "pros" who have ruined the shape time and time again. Not Brigette. This girl is the very definition of a perfectionist and has an incredibly steady hand and eye for symmetry. She's very aware of all the latest brow trends and will give you a beautiful shape, even if you want her to bend the rules of physics to get the shape you want (within reason of course). The first time I went to her she brought my blotchy, misshapen "Gwen Stefani from the 90s"-inspired eyebrows back from the dead. There were 2 follow-ups required that year: to give the depth and lasting shades of color I needed to give me a full eyebrow for 12 months. She was meticulous in the planning and showed me her process step by step before executing the actual microblading. This year, she took me to a new level. I asked her for a lower brow and more straight-line arch that resembled something out of an anime cartoon. Brigette literally made me into the character of my choice. And the results don't lie.
