I had newborn photos taken of my baby girl in August. Linda, the photographer, was an absolute dream. She was very patient with my little one, pausing to let me feed. It's very apparent she has quite a bit of experience with newborn photography and that she thoroughly enjoys her job. Linda called me a few days before my scheduled shoot to discuss my preferences so she could be prepared by bringing different props/outfits/bows right to my house, which was a HUGE plus. Last thing a recovering new mom wants to do is haul a newborn out of the house. After viewing my photo gallery, there were a few tweaks I wanted to make to the photos. I am over the moon excited about my little pumpkin's pictures! They are truly a work of art. The experience was so lovely. Linda (who has been referenced in several reviews) was the sweetest! She felt like family and is literally a baby whisperer! She was so patient with me and my baby. We took lots of breaks to eat and put baby back to sleep. Linda was determined and persevered to get the shots. She brought the cutest outfits, swaddles and little toys. I really appreciate her eye for detail but also her willingness to take requests. She included books I had made for my little one, a swaddle gifted by my mother and two stuffed animals that are very special to me. I definitely was unable to choose between the phots because they were all so beautiful... I ended up buying all of the proofs... which were honestly pretty reasonable for professional pictures. We had Amber as our photographer. We contacted Sweet Me Photography last minute as our baby was approaching one month. We got an appointment the following week and communication was very prompt. Amber, our photographer, was fantastic!!! She was so patient and sweet, especially as the little one got hungry and needed diaper changes. She even helped soothe the baby when she was being fussy. Linda did an outstanding job and worked diligently making sure we got our perfect shots! Our original photographer fell through so we ended up being a little outside the ideal age range. Linda was so patient with our alert little girl and did a marvelous job (tip: scheduling early means getting all those cute sleeping photos!). Sweet Me's entire scheduling, payment, and ordering process was a breeze. Linda was quite the professional, brought all the props and outfits one would need, and helped us get great family shots. My husband could not attend the entire session so she worked it out that our family shot lined up with his break and was very flexible. She is great with kids (having been through this phase with her own kids), and easy to talk with. Booked sweet me for my baby's first photoshoot. She was about 4 weeks old. The photographer was so professional, friendly & really gentle & good with the baby. She brought ALL the props - wraps, headbands, mini stuffed animals. I had a tutu I wanted to photograph her in & she was even open to trying that outfit but baby got too fussy towards the end. As a parent of a newborn it was tremendously convenient that the photographer brings the studio to your house! She set up the lights & backdrop in my living room. I could even break half way through to feed her if needed but she stayed asleep. The pictures turned out SO good. I had a hard time picking just 8 (which comes with the standard package). You can opt to buy more photos. I think we had 6-7 different "looks" to choose from. I'd highly recommend for anyone looking for newborn photos! read more

The photographer that came to our home was so professional and patient. My little girl did not want to cooperate and took way longer than we anticipated to get our photos. We didn't get all of the poses we wanted because our daughter was not happy that day. However, the finished product was better than we could have imagined. We loved everything about our experience with Sweet Me Photography. We did a lot of research before deciding on Sweet Me, and we are so glad that we did. Our photographer, Melissa, was a consummate professional and very accommodating with our schedule. Melissa came very early in the morning with all her equipment and props to take a few family photos first so that I could go to work on the weekday we had scheduled our appointment. My wife later gushed about how Melissa could not have been better with handling our daughter, who apparently had a blow out in one of the blankets in which she was wrapped. Melissa calmly changed her and assured my wife that it was not a big deal, and she went on to take the most beautiful photos. We thought we would end up with 5-8 photos we'd want to purchase before our session, but after seeing the gallery of photos Melissa took, we had to order 25. Sweet Me's staff was also very responsive, and they turned around our photos very quickly, which is often an issue for many other photography companies. We were quite pleased with the entire process from beginning to end and so thrilled with the final products that we have been encouraging all of our expecting friends to give Sweet Me a shot.
