Seeing the whole process in your own home was easy and smooth especially being 2 weeks pp. our photographer was professional and she knew how to soothe our baby when she started to wake. I also appreciated that she took her shoes off without asking. Thank you for doing that. Photos came back fast to view and touch up as well. Can't say enough good things about Sweet Me! The morning of our booking my daughter was taken to the ER and admitted. After explaining our situation, there was nothing but support and understanding from Sweet Me. She was in the NICU for 12 days, but after she was finally discharged it was super easy to find and rebook a date. She was discharged with a Zio patch on her chest so I was afraid that would be shown or hard to cover in the pictures- but no! So glad I decided to book with Sweet Me Photography. I was a little nervous because I have never done an in home newborn shoot before. With my first daughter I went to a studio, which was kind of stressful. The photographer Victoria was the sweetest! I had a great experience with sweet me photography. I booked a few months before my due date and they checked in about a week before our scheduled appointment. They were always very responsive to any emails or calls. We were paired with Carolyn who was great. She brought everything needed to turn my living room into a studio. She was great at calming my baby. He peed, pooped and spit up on her sheets and it didn't phase her at all. All the photos came out great so I purchased the whole collection which was about 45 photos. The proofs came back in 6 days and the edited photos took another week to come back. For example, for the cherub pictures with our little angel curled up without clothes, there was a little heater fan to keep her warm, blowing under the frame holding the blanket she was on. I booked this with low expectations hoping to get a handful of photos to remember the first few weeks by. The photographer, Andrea, called me ahead of time to explain the process and was very friendly and professional. The day of the shoot, she arrived with an entire studio in tow. Lightning, outfits, backgrounds - it was amazing. It only got more incredible from there. Our baby had a diaper rash and was irritable and wouldn't stay in one position. Andrea was unflappable. She was incredibly patient and gentle with him. She worked at his speed and calmed him down quicker than I could; she seems to genuinely care and love what she does. She ended up staying for over three hours and was positive and calm the whole time. I'm still in awe. Oh and the photos turned out great! Best experience I ever had! The photographer came to my home, she was VERY patient with my baby and also made the atmosphere very warm and comfortable for the baby. The photos turned out gorgeous and there were many swaddles and hair pieces to choose from. I was also allowed to use what I had at home. It was very easy to pre-book a session ahead of my baby's birth and they can accommodate if your baby comes sooner or later than expected. The company works with several photographers in the area that they train in newborn photography. We worked with Andrea who was fantastic. She came with plenty of props and backdrops. We were really happy with how the images turned out, about 50 images total. We were lucky enough to have Veronica take our sons newborn pictures. He was almost a month old when I was able to finally squeeze in an appointment with Sweet Me Photography. I was a little worried as they recommended the baby be a little younger but Veronica was able to still get some great pictures with him squirming, pooping and nursing in between. She was so professional and loving towards the baby. He even threw up on her and I felt so bad, but she's a natural. She was so patient, and gave us great ideas. She never rushed us even though I felt we were taking up too much time in between with a fussing baby but she was great and assured me everything's ok.
