The food is SO GOOD. The Mac and cheese, greens, cabbage, yams, and yes this big back are some of all of them. Next time I order chicken curry there it will be in a 5 gallon bucket. The service held me feeling right at home, I even offered to empty the trash can. So friendly and took the time to make sure you were enjoying what they serve. The chef came out and you can tell they care. Very clean establishment will not be my last time. There's a lot more on the menu than displayed and it seems like you can order and wait for menu items or for quicker options pick what's available. Came during lunch and there was a slight wait but food was worth it! Ordered jerk chicken and it was tender, juicy, a little bit of glistening of the skin from the marinade and a side of yummy sauce! I picked the plantain and cabbage as sides (did you know cabbage is hip now?? It's tasty!) but I really should've gotten rice for the chicken! I would love to give this establishment a 5-star but there was a steel object in my food. First off the service you get from here is amazing! They make sure everyone in the restaurant has been helped! Like they will come out look around and ask those who are standing if they've been helped. To me that is such great customer service! They are so helpful treat you like family. First timer so the lady that helped me was super super helpful with helping me order explained how to order. And last but not least...the food is amazing! After trying few more times, I noticed that they are never ready to open the store on time. The door is still closed past their posted business open hours and many items are not ready after opening the store late. We have been smelling this restaurant from Keesler AFB and wanted to try. Decor outside is coastal looking -When we went inside it looked like there weren't many options left to choose from (the food is displayed). We really wanted the sweet chili Salmon and were thinking about leaving and coming back the next day since there was none on display:....I am so glad we hung around. The lady working up front was so nice and said they could make it for us. We got jerk chicken and macaroni and cheese for our kids. We got the Sweet chili salmon with cabbage and rice and peas..We ate every. Last. Bite. Macaroni is good too- I stole them kids food. Do not sleep on this place. Seriously so so good!!!! I lived in Haleigh FL and ate at a Caribbean place every week. I remember ox tails with peas and rice with fried green plantains. Salted cod with wild yams, and the big one here meat pie. I ate here at this place for lunch and wanted curry goat, but they only had curry chicken that day.
