I have had this place marked to try for awhile and I finally had the opportunity ! I arrived late afternoon - and there was not a ton of stuff left so it may pay to get there earlier rather than later or call to make sure they have what you want The gentleman working was very nice I should have asked his name I got a peach cobbler which was mostly what I was after but then also got a slice of lemon pound cake The cake was nice and moist and a generous slice but I wish it packed more lemon flavor . It had frosting on it as well. I'm not a big frosting lover so I did try it but then took off the rest The cobbler - generous portion as well and the peaches were great - great flavor and texture. What threw me was it had a bottom and top crust so it's not the standard definition of a cobbler but still good The crust needs to be dang good for me to eat it and I did enjoy the top crust - it was crispy and flaky - we were fighting over it. The bottom crust was soggy and not enjoyable for me - other people in my house liked it. We had some left the next day and at that point the bottom crust was too soggy We enjoyed it though and would get it again. It was a Sunday and I had a little sweet tooth. I originally went to Crumbl cookie just to find out they are closed on Sundays. Well I then set out to find a place to get a little treat and I ended up finding a great big surprise, SWEET RED PEACH. I drove across town and pulled right up to the front. From the outside it actually looked like it was closed. But I thought there were some lights on so I got out and went up to the door. Open the door to a basically empty place. However there were a couple of things on the counter. A nice young man came out and I asked where the menu was to order and he said that the only things they had left to sell were the few things on the counter and he said they had some banana puddings in the fridge in the corner. I looked at the few options and decided to try the peach cobbler and I grabbed a banana pudding. Both of which are in my top five favorite desserts of all time. The size of both was good. The cobbler was actually a nice shareable portion size. The place was bright, clean and there were a few tables if someone were to want to sit in. The young man told me he was the son of the owner. What a nice guy. Also said that they get close to selling out their stock every day. I am glad that Crumbl was closed. I am glad I drove across town. I am glad they only had a few options. I am glad that I opened the doors to this place. The cobbler was SO good. The banana pudding was SO good. I've read a few of the reviews that said otherwise and I just can't imagine why. The banana pudding was old school and perfect. One of the best I've ever had. The cobbler was so tasty that I realized. If Peach is in the name and they have something peach on the menu. The five stars go straight to Dana first. She was the nicest person. I got there when they open and she was still putting cakes on display. I got the rum pound cake, yellow chocolate icing and strawberry cake. The strawberry cake tasted like strawberries but the icing was sweet (youre gonna need milk or water). The cake however was very moist and soft. Out of the 3 slices of pound cake, the one i tasted didnt taste fresh baked. She did inform me that they keep the cakes in the fridge then ice them. The rum flavor was there and as soon as you open the container you are greeted with a wonderful rum aroma. I understand pound cake has a certain consistency, but it didnt feel fresh. I would definitely come back to try the peach cobbler though. read more

Update: went back because we needed to try the banana pudding by itself. Went in around 30 mins before closing and they were sold out! But the owner was very kind and said she had some remaining custard in the back if I was willing to wait 5-10 minutes she would make some for me. It did not disappoint! The ratio to banana, custard and wafer was on point! Perfectly sweet and layered in such a way that the wafers below the custard did not get soggy. read more

11/18/2025: Stopped in after a bowl of ramen next door on a chilly night. What are all of the balloons out front for? Oh, no big whoop. Just a GRAND OPENING of a southern style bakery with custom cakes, cookies, pastries and desserts by the slice! The place is immaculate, and the decor is adorable! We were warmly greeted by a nice young g man who introduced himself as the owner's son. He was embarrassed as he told us they were all sold out of everything except a couple of slices of their Blue Velvet cake. I'm not mad.. that slice was original, moist and so delicious! The cake is like a Red Velvet, but with blueberry. 9.5 out of 10! We can't wait to go back and try their other offerings like the cinnamon rolls, banana pudding.. my Daddy was born and raised in Tennessee and I have a soft spot for those southern sweets. read more

I used to live in Gardena so I would go to the Inglewood location best cakes, so moist an tasty. So when this location opened I was super excited since I'm in the A.V now . But it's not the same at all. The only reason they get two stars it's because the guy working was very nice . I got the banana pudding an it had a grainy texture the bananas were grey. And for $9 that's a no for me, I got a peach cobbler as well $10 small loaf pan but the taste was pure spices that's all you tasted it was so over powering. We also got a slice of German cake it was very crumbly, a cupcake that the frosting was like pure sugar I can't explain it tasted very artificial. Also bought a cinnamon roll haven't tried it yet I'm sure I'll Be disappointed. $40 down the drain for sure read more

If I could give ZERO stars. I drove well out of my way on my lunch to get dessert and they are locked up tight. Supposed to open at noon, and it's a no. The shade was raised about 1/2 up so I peeked in and no cakes on the counter. They haven't even been there as of yet. Like, be professional. Think of your customers that rely on you being open, if your hours say you're open. I'm so annoyed. Good luck with maintaining customers or loyal clients if you can't do the basics, like open your doors during open hours. read more

So I came back and saw there were cinnamon rolls available so I decided to finally try them to see how great they are. And grabbed a slice of carrot cake because I loved it in the past. I don't know if it was an off day but the cinnamon roll wasn't great, in my opinion. It was slightly dry and didn't scream eat me! I was expecting greatness but I felt let down. I figured we would be happy with the carrot cake but even the carrot cake was missing sugar! Didn't have any sweet taste to it. I was disappointed in it as well and didn't finish it. I want them to succeed but I still feel they need to focus on the kinks (recipes) before full on selling. It's not a cheap product and people are more cautious with spending money. read more

Don't be fooled by the image on this site. The Santa Clarita sweet red peach is huge, poorly lit, dingy and has no atmosphere at all. The cake was solid but a little pricey. As I said, I wouldn't want to sit in here and enjoy the cake because it's pretty miserable but I guess if you're taking it home or buying it for someone and avoid avoiding the inside of this place then I might go up to 3.5 stars read more

OMG Sweet Red Peach has the most delicious desserts and treats! The peach cobbler is melt in your mouth delish! The dough is baked perfectly the peach filling has the right amount of spices and sugar not overly sweet just absolutely perfect! The service is great and the smiles provided by staff and the owner are abundant. I love the bright and cheerful decor makes it easy if waiting for order or sitting in store eating your treats. My family and I were anticipating the Grand Opening of this bakery because I'd heard so many great things about the cakes and cobblers. We ordered slices of German Chocolate, Chocolate and, Blue Velvet cake and they were all very delicious. My grandson said that the chocolate cake was the best cake he'd ever eaten; he is a very picky eater so I knew that it was good. My daughter ordered the Blue Velvet slice and she was sooo happy that she did; she has been back to the bakery at least 4-5 times for Blue Velvet cupcakes/slices. I sampled a small taste and it was delicious. Now, for the German Chocolate......it was also delicious. There were large pieces of pecans and more than enough coconut in the frosting and filling. I've had the Red Velvet from Pasadena location and I liked it. Went to this location @3pm on a Saturday and there was nothing, all sold out, which seems to be a common occurrence. I went to the sweet red peach on bouquet in Santa Clarita this past Sunday at approximately 1pm. I was disappointed. when I walked in as it appeared more like a pop-up shop than a bakery. there were some cake slices on the counter for display but the cupcakes were on a rolling rack making it hard to see them. selection was limited to 4 choices in regular and minis. the only specialty selection was German chocolate. also the chocolate cupcake appeared to be under baked as the weight of the frosting caused it to sink in. the cupcakes were tasty so I will give it one more try in the future. hoping my next experience is more positive. read more

I've been a fan for many years and was so excited to see a location open in SCV. I understand you've only been open a little over a month, but unfortunately my experience so far has been disappointing. I've tried multiple times to purchase popular items like your peach cobbler and banana pudding when you open, told not ready. Not run out but not ready. Resulting in me leaving and coming back if I can. I've sent others and heard similar feedback. I really want to support this business but consistency is key. Maybe baking should start earlier like some of the other franchises especially around the holidays. Like today 12/23 at 11am when u open. I was told by the person at the counter. No cupcakes or banana pudding today only slices on counter. Peach cobbler a twenty minute wait, it was actually 45. When the peach cobbler was made available, I asked for three. The employee told me I hadn't specified a quantity, which was frustrating since I was told there would just be a wait! I ended up with one slice of cake and one peach cobbler and left again feeling frustrated and disappointed. While the bake goods themselves are good, I can't recommend this location to others yet. I may check back in a few months, but until consistency and customer service improve across the board, it's hard to justify returning. read more
