IMO, Valencia's food and drink prep is a half-step better. FYI -- Boba Boba rewards are not connected. Although I already have one for Valencia, I had to sign up separately with Saugus. Friendly staff and clean space. There's more than enough parking in the large plaza.

I never know how many samples are considered *acceptable* but we tried an ample amount and the server was extremely nice and patient. I went with pistachio crema 2 days in a row because it was that good. It reminded me of the real gelato I've tried in Italy, where you can really taste the nuttiness. The last day I had espresso and tiramisu. All the samples I tried were good in any case. By the 3rd day, almost everyone there recognized us. She greeted us with a smile, took care of us the whole time, and even while we sat back watching her make the order, she gave that same energy to every customer. You can tell she really enjoys what she does. I also like her whole setup--the branding, the logos, the Gooey Monsters... it all fits.
