At…read more5:29 we got on the line for ice cream. 2 female workers took the customers in front of us and when it was our turn, they closed the window and refused to serve us, no explanation, just window closed. My 7 year old started crying and when I flagged them down through the glass window asking them if they could at least just take her order, they just smiled and turned away.. didn't even have the decency to explain why they couldn't take us. Mind you, there was NO ONE behind us. Disgusting customer service and extremely disheartening when you're in line for ice cream and have an excited little girl picking out her flavors only to then have her asking why they were so rude to us. NEVER giving my business here!

The ice cream is soft creamy and fresh and they have such unique flavors as well as seasonal flavors. The ice cream flight is $12 for four scoops of ice cream, which I think is an amazing deal! There's indoor and outdoor seating, but depending on the time of day that you go, they are very busy. The ingredient list was less of a mom & pop local ice cream, and more along the lines of a mass market processed ice cream brand. I tried their cookies and cream ice cream (3.5/5), which was decent, but wasn't as rich in texture as I usually like my ice cream to be. Perhaps I just chose the wrong flavor, but wasn't overly impressed with my first experience with Bassett's ice cream. While I loved the shop itself and the employees, I wasn't sold on Bassett's ice cream personally, but would recommend them to others seeking an ice cream treat while visiting Rancocas Woods.
