Service was extremely friendly and super accommodating. They were able to heat my roast beef up to hell hot which I appreciate and offer me a bottle of water that was room temperature which is top-tier in my world. The eggnog latte was not overly sweet which was fabulous. The ambience was perfect. The seating ample establishment clean. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely visit

Such a lowly coffeehouse, the staff is always helpful and friendly. The coffee is INCREDIBLE; iced, hot whatever you want, it's good. Very cozy vibes, stone building, wood interior, chalk sign menus. Definitely will return, often!

Absolutely lovely service, delicious food offerings and coffee. Cute decor. I'm a fan

Cozy seating, family friendly, makes the neighborhood lively in the morning. They have La Colombe coffee, lots of local baked goodies to choose from and a lot of sandwich/breakfast and brunch options. They make crepes!! Plenty of seating indoors, and there are benches outside as well. Come and support the local business!! The fruits are fresh and the crepe was really delicious. Of note, if you're seated outside do check back to pick up your order, they don't have a buzzer

I LOVE Johnson hall! I go here quite often when I'm in the mood for a coffee. The white chocolate raspberry latte is my favorite. The food here is also delicious! I always have a pleasant experience with the workers and they never disappoint :D My previous fixation was the caprese panini, but now I've been loving the prosciutto and mozzarella panini or ham, egg, and cheese croissant.

Love this spot! I ordered the lavender iced latte and it's definitely one of my favorite ones from the menu. There's so many others that I would like to try when I come back. Also ordered a ham egg and cheese on a panini bread and that was delicious as well. Service was great, the employees were so nice and made your food and drinks really quick. They gave us great compliments and asked how was everything. The coffee shop has a very great vibe to it. I'll definitely be back for more coffee and breakfast food.

Yum! The turkey panini was fantastic! And very filling for the price. I'm not a pickle person but I heard those were fantastic too.

This spot has been on my list for awhile and I just now visited. I will say to start this place is BUSY it's super popular and seems to have a cult-ish following. Even as busy as they are they keep things moving, the line went fast and our coffee was made almost immediately and our food followed soon after. Their big hitters are their waffles and/or crepes. I wasn't planning on eating but could not say no to their waffles. My brother and I both got the cinnamon cream pecan and they were sooo good. Sweet but not sickenly so and they had candied pecans - so yummy! I got a Maple vanilla raf which means the milk, espresso, and flavor are all steamed together . The coffee was good but it wasn't super flavorful I will have to try something else next time. The inside is cute a decent amount of seating plus more outside ! The worker taking our order was so unbelievably sweet as well! I'll definitely be back for sure to try a new coffee and more off their food menu!

Love the environment in here! Very relaxing! Customers can bring their laptop here and sip on coffee and get some work done. A few friends can sit and chat while having a nice brunch or coffee break. Coffee was great! I got my dad a ice tiramisu latte to try because it sounds interesting to me. Strong coffee taste and not just sugary. I had a hot cappuccino for myself. Their food taste delicious too! My 4yr old daughter and I especially love the ham, egg, and cheese croissant. We shared one order together, so I can order her a berries & cream waffle, replacing the blue berries with banana, as her dessert. Great place to come back again!

Delicious iced latte with almond milk
    Rachel R.

I went there today and the person behind the counter was SO nice. I ordered an iced lavender latte and forgot to specify that I wanted almond milk. I told her I'd re-order since it was my fault and she gave it to me on the house which was super generous. The vibe here is great, the people are really nice, and the coffee tasted delicious. They do not have any gluten free pastries and it looks to be minimal parking, but I think there's some kind of parking I'm not seeing because more people were inside the cafe than there were spots for. If you don't mind gluten, the menu looked incredible! I'm attaching some pictures. I am also really grateful they had almond milk in addition to regular milk. :)

Other features include an area to post business cards/messages, a pay it forward board, board games and wifi. The guy working behind the counter was pleasant and knowledgeable about their coffee offering which comes from Homestead Coffee Roasters of Upper Black Eddy. Their drink menu consists of hot/cold coffee, tea, lattes, and espresso based drinks. I tried the drip coffee and would highly recommend it. It is a private label version of Homesteads Darkness - dark & bold with notes of rich, smokey chocolate. I enjoyed the dark roast, rich chocolate and its bold full body. The cortado and espresso I had were ok. I found them to be a little too bitter, but there was a strong roasted earthiness flavor that I liked. On a return trip I'll have to try their Vietnamese coffee. Food wise I've had the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They are simple and decent sized with simple folded egg patties and cheddar cheese on average bagels. The sausage had a little spicy kick and the bacon was pretty tasty (NOTE: they do offer pork roll as an option). I was given some hot sauce packets to go. You can also get sandwiches on a croissant. The rest of the menu is simple - toasts, sandwiches, salads, some items for the kids. They do sell their private label coffee beans in retail bags and will grind them for you. I'll stop in again if I'm in the area. The coffee and ambiance is great, the food is ok to good, service great and the idea of a non profit that supports community is commendable. Thanks!!

Something found along the streets of New Hope, Frenchtown, and Lambertville... Not off of route 1 in Penndel. The vibe is cozy and the environment comfortable, but disappointment sets in if you're planning on having an actual meal here. My Turkey Pesto Panini was disappointing. While the bread, and pesto were lovely, the turkey looked and tasted like the Oscar Mayer prepackaged kind you find in the local grocery store. His breakfast sandwich dull and lackluster in every aspect but the sourdough. Again - the baking is what shines here at Well Bean. My recommendation: stop in and grab a late, smoothie or tea and a pastry to go... but if you're looking for a hearty breakfast leave the heavy lifting to The Coffee Cup Cafe around the corner or The Cracker Barrel down the street.

I adored their original location, as it was super quaint, quirky and cozy. When they first moved to this new spot, it felt a bit more clinical and commercial but they've done a great job of personalizing it, and I'm happy they kept a lot of the original furniture. My favorite item on their menu is the Whitefish Toast -- it comes on a fresh, thick, hearty piece of seeded toast, and the whitefish salad is dressed with pickled carrots and micro greens. It's a pretty generous portion at a reasonable price. I also love their seasonal Campfire latte, which is a rich, creamy delight with a touch of sweetness. On this visit, they had run out of the marshmallow topping but they kindly offered a partial refund to make up for it. The only downside is that this place gets packed early; by 8:45am, the only seat available was in the window. People seem to post up for the day with their laptops, and while everyone loves a good coffee shop work sesh, it seems ownership may need to institute a time limit so others can enjoy the atmosphere as well. If you're dreaming of stellar coffee, tasty locally-sourced food, and nearby access to the river, this place answers all your prayers.
