This is one of my favorite Lambertville cafes. I'll normally start my day trip to this cute, cozy town here with a latte to sip as I bop and shop. It has plenty of space inside if you want to take a break from the walking around and sit for a bit, a little nook filled with gifts, mugs, cards, etc and a friendly team that has always been super quick with orders even on the busiest of days. I will usually get my usual oat milk latte but I've also tried their drip coffee, cold brews, and a few of their seasonal treats, it's always great. I love that they have a tap for water, perfect for when I need to hydrate a bit before I recaffeinate. It's always buzzing and busy so I think everyone else in town has the same love for Union Coffee that I do.

We got here early and it got crowded quickly. I ordered a pour over which was well prepared. It was a single origin, Honduran coffee, but my tastes tend more towards Ethiopian and this one lacked the fruitiness that I like. I would've preferred to have a couple different to choose from. Julie got the chai tea latte but she said it could've been a little bit hotter. Definitely has the good coffee place vibe with interesting people and soft indie music playing in the background. Looks like they handle Partners coffee beans, which I think are Brooklyn based. The fresh local milk and eggs make it a little quirky.

My go to coffee shop in Lambertville! What's not to love about this place? They serve amazing coffee, a variety of delicious food (the egg salad sandwich is to die for), have a cute little gift shop & lots of seats with occasional live music. The best part is they sell local eggs & milk. Everyone is always welcoming and kind. I wish they had a larger iced latte size, my coffee never lasts more than a few minutes, haha!

Union coffee is a gem in west Jersey. Union Coffee is an ideal spot for grabbing a hot/cold drink, a snack and getting some work done. My go to drink is the snickerdoodle latte. Each time I've gotten it, it has been great. The espresso is always roasted to perfection and it always finds a happy-medium for sweetness. It's never too sweet, but it's sweet enough where the snickerdoodle flavor comes through. As someone who eats gluten free, I appreciate the chocolate-coconut cookie at Union. The cookie is soft and hits the spot. The service at Union is fast, which is a nice touch for a local spot. Union Coffee has a cozy and inclusive vibe, and sometimes features local music artists- making Union a solid choice for a date or meetup spot with friends. The next time you find yourself in Lambertville make sure to stop at Union Coffee!

Friendly staff! Great service! I got a hot coffee and put my own milk in it. It was absolutely delicious ! Such a cute café ! I have to come back when it's not SHAD so I can sit down and really enjoy the music AND the sweet vibe.

A nice small sized café with really good coffee and tea. All brewed on the spot. Coffee beans are fresh, atmosphere is cozy. They have a small merchandise aisle and a nice size bathroom. There is also good Wi-Fi as well as a large table with chairs that you can sort of communal work together with strangers. Large windows with a small Christmas tree that shows people walking by. Right across the street there is a very old bookstore with lots of additions and hard to get vintage books.

Cozy cafe with friendly staff, ample seating( both indoor and outdoor tables on walkway), selection of pastries/sandwiches, smooth and tasty coffee, no bitterness in sight right in the downtown of Lambertville. We went on Saturday morning, it was busy but we were able to get table and enjoy our lattes and bagels in the cafe. You can enjoy the coffee in cafe or walking around the town or on trail along the canal. would definitely recommend this coffee shop.

This is a cute coffee shop. I came here on an early Sunday morning and everyone was really nice and it seems like there are definitely "regulars" who come here. I did not try the coffee but the green tea was very nice. I am gluten and dairy free and found a few available options: apples and peanut butter, overnight oats with nuts and berries, and an oat yogurt. They don't have gluten free bread here to be able to try any of the sandwiches, or really any pastries that were gluten AND dairy free (but they did have gluten free only options and dairy free only options). There's an older guy who seems to come here regularly and one of the staff was super nice to him, making him a special bagel surprise etc - it was super heartwarming to see. I like the vibe here, it's super chill. I don't know why this doesn't come up on recommended places near me since it's only an 18 minute drive. There are 4 small tables, a booth, 3 bar stools against the wall, and then a big family style table with maybe 10 seats. There are outlets on the wall and the wifi seems pretty fast. They also have a cute little gift shop in the back. Parking nearby has to be done with the ParkMobile app unless you come in when parking is free like a Sunday morning.

Welcoming, friendly vibe, delicious coffee, tantalizing baked goods. Green ginger smoothie is not to be missed--fresh, good flavors. Hitting the spot on a hot summer morning.

Super friendly and quick service! The chai latte was really delicious. We didn't stay and sit down but the inside was very cozy and welcoming.

    Cinnamon cappuccino. Loved it.

Perfect cup of coffee here. Tried a cinnamon toast cappuccino and it was so good. Minor complaint but mainly a plea to coffee shops to bring back real mugs, like the ceramic ones. This coffee especially deserves a real cup even though the paper cup was just fine.

This is overall a cute shop and the staff was nice and the prices were reasonable. I was happy to know they had decaf coffee. Looking for an escape from the cold army friend and I stopped in and I got a plain decaf drip coffee - they have milk and sugar and such at a bar across from the counter. There were so many people working there at least 5 and all the seats were taken. It was definitely busy and I enjoyed that they had a little shop. It did feel a little dirty though - probably from how busy it was. And with it being so small it got claustrophobic when big groups came in. That aside what was disappointing was the coffee - at first sip I enjoyed it but by the end it just tasted like sludge. Maybe we got the end of the pot? I'm not sure who's coffee they use, but it was disappointing to say the least. No matter how nice the spot is, if a regular cup of coffee is disappointing then I can't realistically give a high rating. Maybe try other items from their menu? They did have some nice looking food options as well!

I called when I was in Flemington NJ and called them because someone said there were two locations hoping to find them in Flemington. Anyone the person who told me there were two places was wrong. When I come to New Hope I usually bring cookies and pastries from Bensonhurst Brooklyn for my friends. Driving to New Hope was a last minute decision so a local bakery had to do. The person who answered the phone was bright, cheery, caring and made me want to drive 30 minutes to cry them. I arrived in New Hope, it's a small shop although everyone including the customer were very friendly. It seems like everything is baked right on premises, all natural and just tastes great. They have some unusual combinations of flavors and names that makes you want to try all the different cookies and pastries. As mentioned before, everyone was courteous, great pastries, cookies, and deserts. They bake everything fresh so if you wait until later in the day you may miss out on the great selection. I would highly recommend them and I'm sure they will not disappoint.

Aastha is always so willing to chat & Justin is always down to discuss my current home baking projects. I've been going once every week or every other week for over a year now & felt the need to finally write a review (I don't review much on here!). Today, I walked into the shop looking for my coveted Almond Croissant (amazing) and there were none to be had--Justin hadn't made them today because the plain & chocolate were selling well enough to not make any. This man, so wonderful, offered to make me an Almond Croissant. I felt bad, but he insisted & I came back in an hour & an half and he had it waiting for me. Now, THAT is truly caring about your customers. It was just what I needed after a rough week. Some of my favorite baked goods from the Bakeshop are (obviously) the Almond Croissant, the Country Loaf & Personal Loaf (same dough, different sizes), the Chocolate Chip Cookie (my boyfriend's favorite) & the Cheddar & Chive Danish.
