I usually just get the pedicures and not a pedicure and use press-on nails if I have something special. I got a manicure here almost a year ago, and it was good. I've recently gotten two manicures here, and the last time was not great but not terrible. This time was pretty bad, and I won't be getting manicures here again, especially for the price. I just paid $80 for something that doesn't look as good as when I get $10 press on nails, the lady was visibly irritated and huffing about me trying to get what I wanted from a service I'm paying for. I got couple small cuts the scissors, and as soon as I got in my car, I ended up opening Amazon to see what quick things I could buy to try to salvage the nails. You may or may not get decent-looking nails, but you'll definitely be overcharged. Even if the nails themselves turn out okay, a lot of the typical elements of a manicure aren't included, it's pretty much just the nails themselves. Pricey but good for pedicures, but I wouldn't recommend the manicures.

Stupidly, I never thought to try the salon that's almost literally behind my house because 1. that would make too much sense, and 2. nothing good is ever close to my house so why should this place be any different? I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and the place was empty. One thing I noticed right off was that it smelled amazing. The woman who did my nails was friendly, quick, and gentle. When she was finished, my nails looked perfect. This was three weeks ago. I actually want my nails to fall off or come loose enough for me to pry them off at this point, but they're still on as solid as ever. I imagine this is a good thing for most women.
