    Cinnamon bun

Great bakery... We stopped in to try out some items. We shared a cinnamon roll which was drowning in icing. At first that turned me off but the icing was just perfect and the roll was great. We also shared a caramel cookie and a cinnamon scone. The scone was unlike any I've ever had -rather than being tried it was very moist almost like a cake. It was delicious.

Two BIG scoops for $3.82 with tax

This is a new bakery store that opened about a month ago in downtown Laurel. I have visited it twice now. It has a very nice and attractive exterior with nice red awnings out front with its name in big block letters on the building. Walking inside, you see the pretty exposed brick walls with the ice cream counter in front of you and the baked goods to your left. They have 8 flavors of Blue Bunny ice cream and can offer it in cups, sugar cones and waffle cones. I got two scoops in a cup for $3.82 with tax and thought it was a bargain. The scoops were large too! The pies and baked goods are attractively displayed in bright counters. I saw many pastry and baked good items for sale. What else is neat is that you can look into the kitchen in the back to watch the workers make their products. I predict this store will be successful. It adds a lot to the rejuvenation of downtown Laurel.

    Cinnamon rolls and sticky buns

My husband and I stopped in this morning for cinnamon rolls and sticky buns. We had been last Saturday on our way to Biloxi and missed both because they had sold out. So on our way home stopped and glad we did. Super friendly bakery and so cute inside. Every thing looked delicious in the case. I would go again

A quaint little bakery. Great brownies and cookies. But the best thing, hands down, was the raspberry cream cheese danish!!!!

There is ice cream, milkshakes, cookie dough, and baked treats to choose from. Inside the store there are several tables to sit at to escape the heat of summer. We made our way over to the baked treats and purchased an assortment to bring back to our AirBnB. The customer service was great and helpful when making our selections. Let's get to the goodies! I loved the cookie square I got with the watermelon in icing on top. Makes for a cute seasonal dessert. The cookies were yummy along with the white chocolate peanut butter balls. Stop here for your baked treats!

I've never seen any macaroons anywhere else in the Laurel, MS area so I was really happy to see they had them here. I LOVE macaroons so I was so excited to get one and bit into it... sadly I found my experience to be a very dry crumbly macaroon that I might go so far as to call stale. I've eaten many macaroons in my time and this one is on the bottom of my list sadly. I would suggest sticking with the other items here like the candy as I did enjoy my chocolate candy I ate. Overall this is the only game in Laurel, MS for desserts like this and for your macaroon fix I would wait for a visit to New Orleans.

There was some kind of street fair going on, so we parked in the back and walked in from the back door. It was a little confusing, but we four a very sweet server who showed us where to sit. I think her name was Lincoln and she was very sweet. The outdoor area was a little messy, but no big deal. The food was okay. I had a French burger that was a little flat tasting. My husband had the French dip. Again, it was just okay. Cocktails were pretty good. Based on that alone I probably wouldn't go back, but we were limited on choices due to having our dog with us. Here's where it took a turn. We went to our car and there was a very nasty note telling us, "The next time you park here you will be towed." It directed us to go inside to get someone to move their car which was blocking us in. We didn't see any other parking lot and there weren't any no parking signs. I went inside and found our waitress who gave the note to a woman sitting at the bar with papers spread out in front of her. I assume she was the manager or owner. She didn't say a word and sent the waitress to move her car. All of the sudden our sweet server wasn't so sweet. Come to find out, the parking lot entrance was on the side where the street fair was and we couldn't see it. I think that is a pretty nasty way to treat customers. I don't recommend this place at all.

If you have a craving for a cool dessert this is the best option to be found. Mimmos restaurant is great- maybe they should just offer gelato at the restaurant across the street & not waste all the extra cost of having this across the street- ... God bless & I hope my review helps others make the best food and beverage experience in their travels - and always BUY AND SUPPORT LOCAL & SMALL FAMILY BUSINESSES- as this is why America is great!!
